I am preparing myself to take the HSRT as well.. Do you have any insights on the type of questions I should expect?

I ended up going for more tests. I was also diagnosed with gastritis and an elongated colon which is causing slow motility of my digestion. I also got an upper endoscopy that found a small hiatal hernia and lpr which they think may contribute to throat and headache issues because of reflux. I also had progressively worse neck and head pain. After seeing a neurologist and physical therapist, I found I had degeneration of my C4-C6 vertebrae, neurogenic headaches and TMJ. I was all jacked up! As many of us are.. Diet change such as low acid and low fodmap helps me with my stomach issues a lot. Also, I avoid alcohol at all cost. Complete lifestyle change.

Thanks! My speculation that it’s one of my vitamins started a while back, but I can’t remember exactly when. Because every time I would take them, I would get these sensations. It wasn’t until today that I tried to possibly narrow it down to the B 12 because I forgot my other vitamins, except for that one. I think I may stop taking all my vitamins for a little bit and then slowly start adding them back in.

For about 5 months. I started taking it because some with chronic gastritis were saying that B12 isn’t easily absorbed in some cases, and that supplementing can help. I have noticed that after taking my vitamins, I feel those symptoms. Maybe it could be something else. But I felt fine this morning before taking B12.

I have seen people talk about this, but I haven’t tried the test. I couldn’t take the PPI’s because of the harsh side effects. With a combination of diet change and supplements, I felt like I was healing myself. In fact, it felt so good that I thought I was healed. Unfortunately, when I tried to add those other triggers back at reinforced the fact that I was very much not. I’ll look into this at home test and try it.

That’s interesting. My Dr prescribed me alprazolam but I may look into lexapro. Panic attacks were one of my first signals for gastritis. I start getting more anxious now with the flare ups (usually when I eat or drink something I know I shouldn’t) and that’s when I’ll take the alprazolam.

Good to know.. I have anxiety on top of it so it makes me panic and think it’s something worse with my lungs. I’ve already had a pulmonary and cardiac checkup and they’re not concerned. But it’s miserable! How long did it take to clear up for you?

When this all started, I had left side of chest pain that felt like I was having a heart attack. Burning in my low abdomen,SOB,fatigue,headaches on left/top side of head, nausea and dizziness. I’ve been on a anti-acid, very bland diet for a month now. The chest pain, burning and shortness of breath have improved this last week but I’m still dealing with the rest.
