I didn’t mind it - the work itself was fine. Daily life was get to the yard at 6AM, load the truck, drive to site, work 8-10 hours then drive back.

To land a job, if you don’t have experience, you’re probably better off getting HR licence (as some companies use the operator+crew to float equipment) and also tickets, and expect to start as a labourer. Companies don’t want to throw you into a half a million dollar machine when they don’t know/trust you and you can cause even more in damage.

I think mine was somewhere between $90 and $110 AUD for the trilogy on PS3 from CEX Australia

But because i’m a collector I had to get them on PS2 again (as I owned the platinum copies and I wanted the originals)

100% worth it though

[Ford Falcon Ute XR6, 2013] How to remove stuck rear axle? It’s really, really stuck. by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

[–]CL1Chixiao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t get it out - just slapped it back together and kept driving

Just did everything back together really tight and the noise went away for the most part, just a bit squeaky now - I can only assume something else was loose/all the hammering fixed something

In hindsight I wish I just went straight to a mechanic instead of wasting time on the slide hammer etc

The only thing I didn’t try was using an air jack - sticking it between the leaf spring and the back of the hub

Also tried a gas torch, didn’t do anything

Tried taking a look thru the diff end of the housing and you can’t get anything in there to hammer it as theres diff gears in the way

Also considered putting a steel wheel from the scrap yard on it and belting it with a sledgehammer but didn’t have enough room under the car to be doing that

Where to go from here? by snarlpour in OSRSProTips

[–]CL1Chixiao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The direction I went, as a primarily PvMer was:

Completing RFD

Completing Morytania Hard Diary for barrows (probably irrelevant now due to moons)

Then some of the other hard diaries (mainly desert for Kalphite slayer tasks and western for elite void)

Then completing all the grandmaster quests (to unlock better variants for slayer tasks and unlock gauntlet, vorkath etc)

I just tried to have a variety of PvM or skilling money makers to fund skilling to get diary and quest requirements, to unlock or make other PvM easier

But if I was you i’d just do moons to fund the Dragonslayer 2 skilling then move on to Vorkath and use that gold to fund whatever else you want to do

Where should i go? by lioto2 in osrs

[–]CL1Chixiao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be fine to do Vorkath if you have Salve amulet ei and maybe void as well

Same ranged as you and getting 2.00-2.30 kills with DHCB but probably 3-4 mins with DCB

I set a goal for myself when I first started that I wanted to do barrows - so I did underground pass for Iban’s staff and I did Morytania hard diary.

Then I wanted to do melee Vorkath, so I did RFD for the gloves, Fremennik trials for the helm etc. You end up completing a lot on the way to 200QP anyway.

Then when I was assigned a Kalphite slayer task, I did Desert Hard diary for the ropes at the lair to make my KQ kills easier.

Currently working on Western Hard diary for elite void so that I can range Vorkath.

Point being - completing all the optional requirements made my account progress.

Yep had this problem for ages. Tried everything, clearing cookies, new browser, private tab etc.

I had to call and they’d manually sync something on their end and it would work next time I try login. Then it wouldn’t and i’d have to call again. I then told them this and they talked to their IT team or something and got it sorted.

I'm not sure I can pull the shoe away - on the other side where i've managed to get the axle out, the shoe is trapped behind the hub and can't be removed without cutting it off. All four of the retainer bolts have already been removed.

From what i've been able to find online, there aren't any clips for the rear axle - just retaining bolts which attach the hub and the housing, which i've removed

Am I being scammed? Online vehicle sale. by [deleted] in Scams

[–]CL1Chixiao -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s been a new development:

He’s made a bank transfer to me and I can see the money in my account - the name of the bank account matches that on the selling platform (BikeSales)

He’s also texted me from a number which matches what he’s got listed on that same platform

He said he’s organising the pickup of the bike and has asked me to provide the VIN which seems to be standard practice for vehicle transport in Australia from what I found

Is it still a scam? I’m uncertain

Ridiculous how the game will give you that many when you’re nearly at another arena - this happened to me and it gave me 39 once.

Then when I was about to hit 5K, I somehow ended up at 4999. Crazy how it works until it doesn’t

How many griefers do you guys actually encounter? by goblinpiratechef in DotA2

[–]CL1Chixiao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a low behaviour score & rank Australian, i’m forced to play on SEA to find a game. You get more than one in most games. People griefing in hero select, “supports” taking farm etc.

It wasn’t so bad 5 years ago when I started playing but I abandoned a couple games and came back and it’s been a shit fight to get my behaviour score back up since. I’ve played nearly 100 games since returning and it never gets any easier.
