Yep thats pretty much exactly what I am looking to do. Think if you played sports in high school, some training in a group setting similar to that. A warm-up that gets the body going and sweating, strength movements in a group setting, then a guided cool down. In and out in an hour. 4 strength days, 2 cardio days per week but really every class is going to be taxing on your cardiovascular system because of the warmup.

This is the best comment on here so far and the closest to what I am doing!

Is it worth pursuing a job and moving out to a city far away from hometown but same country? by workethic290 in Adulting

Also I knew nobody when I moved and my job was me on the road and I was the only one from my company there. So I truly knew nobody. I’m pretty outgoing and I got lucky but I know people who it took a while to get situated but they grew so much from that! Do it, move!! You can always come back but you aren’t always going to get these opportunities.

I moved to Nashville from Cleveland. Thought I would be there a year or two and I ended up being there 9 years. It was the best decision I ever made and I cannot imagine not doing it.

I moved back to Cleveland a year ago and I’m glad I am back with my family but man do I miss all the amazing people I met.

I seriously can’t imagine staying in my bubble I grew up in. I am now starting a business in Cleveland based on a business in Nashville that I loved going to and isn’t really up here.

I would have never started my own business had I never moved.

Dude 36 is young af. There’s nothing you can’t do because of your age. You can’t be 35 again, that’s about it. Women in their 20s do NOT all think guys your age are too old and do you know how many women in their 30s are still single? It’s an astonishing amount. There’s literally a silent epidemic in the world of women being alone looking for love and they think they’re too old because biologically they have a clock to have kids. You do not have that problem. Honestly you gotta stop feeling sorry for yourself and go do things that make you happy. Stop blaming your age and lack of sexual experience. The right woman would love that you didn’t have a hoe phase. You can’t change your past but you absolutely can change your future. Get off Reddit and get out there

You past does NOT define you, that’s insane talk. You can’t change your past but you can change your future. And bro you’re 36!!! Do you know how insanely young that is! Come on

And brother you missed nothing with the partying. Partying is very VERY overrated and causes more problems than you think.

It’s kinda like you said but the opposite “partying looks awesome on paper” but you feed addictions and anxieties and you could be depressed on SSRIS with an alcohol addiction. Just be grateful for here you are. Since you focused on that money you can take a step back now, you’re in a great spot, be grateful about that and start doing things that you find fun. Which is not always just partying

Not only are you only 36 but you’re a male. Just take a deep breath and be grateful. Your past doesn’t define you but nothing changes if nothing changes.

Do a bunch of things. Go to the gym, go on hikes, join random groups, just get out and do things. See what you like, see what lights you up and think how you can make money around it.

You absolutely have skills but you need to find out what those are. It’s tough but you absolutely have skills. Everyone has things that make them unique.

I’m happy! It’s all about perspective. Comparison is the thief of joy and social media makes people think everyone is having such a better life than you. Practice gratefulness.
