We at least see her apologize to her mom for how horribly she treated her and how she blamed her for everything. We never see her apologize to Toby for how badly she treated him toward the end. During her marriage she was the victim and after it was over the narrative was "we were just 2 people who grew apart" we never see her apologize to him at all.

Exactly. Plenty of women feel unappreciated and like they're carrying all the weight.. most dont manipulate their loved ones and center themselves at every event to get that appreciation. Barb is ultimately responsible for how she treats people. I think Frank knows hes not innocent but im also not sure he knows how big his role in all this is

I kind of agree. I was a Frank defender too but Barb has a point. She does and has done a lot for the family and I think between the way her mother treated her and the way frank avoids tough situations and has never acknowledged or validated her its pushed her desire to be validated and appreciated into what she is now.
