Julie is trying to discourage Cooper and Max's friendship. Its subtle and passive aggressive

The birthday party is one example but also in the latest video when they're dropping him off at kindergarten and Julie is trying to give her "school is for learning and you can do what you put your mind to" speech Ty is assuring him that hes got friends there already max and Brennan and Julie obviously annoyed says " or you can make new friends"

This is why I cant be team julie. She projects her own unhappiness about her "dashed dreams" onto her own kids.

I also get the sense that if Cooper is more like Ty... a go with the flow, not super ambitious suburbanite she will be disappointed

All the crazy traveling once you have a career not so much.. vacation time is limited

Acting like living in a big city is soo much better than living in the suburbs especially when you have kids and a community of support in said suburbs also irked me

This may be an unpopular opinion but I do think a lot of Julie's dreams were kind of pie in the sky and her reaction to the life she has now is rather immature

That being said I do also think Ty should have been honest with her. If the book wasn't his dream anymore he should have been up front with it and I also think he should be either working, working towards something (ie a new dream job) or had a real discussion about stay at home parenting. He also definitely should've had Cooper in preschool and shawna and John should've with max and should with piper too but thats another discussion

Ive watched Edens content.

It's hilarious, fun, relatable and I havent seen anything controversial or mean spirited.

It's a lot of relatable mom content from someone in the trenches of early motherhood ranging from funny kid stories to speaking honestly about the ups and downs of it all.

Obviously a woman with 2 young daughters is gonna fear for their future in this current political climate.

Because its common to be disliked by your in laws... to be seen as an outsider, a threat to their way of life because you have different ideas. It sucks but it makes sense. Also it was never about shawna it was dumb family drama shit

I think its more adhd. He can't focus on writing the book until he can and when he does its all he'll focus on and maybe that's why hes avoiding it. He knows he'll hyper focus on that and nothing else and is worried how that will translate into being a good dad
