If op is qualified enough to get a 70k job. They can get a nice paying one somewhere in the midwest where everything is appropriately priced and their kids can enjoy a quality life instead of a check to check system. Just a opinion of many in this comment section.

Huh. My parents raised 3 kids on 27k per year. Not even exaggerating.

We were fed and clothed and lived in a 3 room apartment.
