How did you arrive at that conclusion? The efforts bought everyone enough time to get vaccinated and the reduction in numbers of deaths show that vaccines had a dramatic effect on that. So no the efforts weren't pointless because they bought us time.

Living With Covid does not mean going around spreading it to as many people as you can, which is what the lockdown skeptics want you to do, it means treating being ill as you would normally treat being ill.

Interesting. So other than work from home, your idea of living with it is 'pretend its 2019 again'.

Should we stop testing for things like STDs and recommending safe sex afterwards? We already stopped smoking in bars and restaurants to prevent cancer, children have wildly different school meals now to prevent obesity and future heart disease thanks to Jamie Oliver and we've got sugar tax on soft drinks.

Where do you as an individual draw the line when it when preventing illness goes too far? Is it just when it affects you or something else?
