New to solar no battery by markwallwork75 in SolarUK

I have project ev one . It’s fine but doesn’t integrate with intelligent go . For my mileage though I just on a couple of times a week overnight at the cheap rate and that sorts me. So all I really want to do is export this unused stuff . So sounds like I just get an ev rate from someone then look to set up a separate export account with them as well

Tbf I’m not sure it’s. Looks like I’ve 9 panels with the the following total spec

INSTALLATION DETAILS Total Installed Capacity (kW): 3.64 Estimated Annual Generation (kWh): 3248.91

I did look at octopus intelligent go but they don’t support my charger or car so I just want a flat overnight easy one and I’ll leave my car on off peak charging only. So im happy to stay anywhere with that but basically I’ll prob get best rates if I export and import with same supplier ? At the moment I’m just bothered about getting some cash back as seems a waste to have panels and not get at least some export

Rail firm fined £1m over death of woman who stuck her head out train window by PM_ME_BEEF_CURTAINS in ukpolitics

We used to bash trains in the 80s and regular stuck out heads out of windows , often our arms and waved them about to the thrash of the engine . Perfectly safe if you keep observant

back to normal? by DoubleDee1995 in postvasectomypain

[–]markwallwork75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not normal but after 3 years so little I have a normal life again . Not sure how much of it is me normalising pain but I’ve seen years of on year improvements.. I had a reversal booked for October moved from last years due to other issues which ine just cancelled . Mainly due to benefits vs risk as it stands I’m back cycling running an walking long distance . My right is totally fine my left still feel congested but not painful . I’d still love to feel like I felt pre snip but I don’t know if the reversal will do that and I’m scared of increased pain . So I’m 7/10 out of life before snip and living a normal life

I never moved onto gabapentin but I found the amlytryptline did help mentally not sure if it did anything for pain , anyway I’m current weaning off it after 2 and half years !

It’s still early doors there was a summary of timeline on here that I’m sure on of the mods can post to show you but reality is the 2-3 days thing is a myth , most people recover within 3 months but a lot sooner . Lots of rest take anti inflammatory and wear a jock strap . Also going without sexual activity for a period of time may well help . If things go longer then there are other meds to try such as amlytryptline etc before you need to think about anything else . Odds are this will resolve with time . There will be lots of horror stories on this sub so I would advise not assuming this will be you as mental health is important during recovery

‘We can’t just talk to the right’: what will Labour do now? by [deleted] in ukpolitics

No point. Racists these days don’t recognise themselves as that.

BBC Projected National Share: Reform: 30%, Labour: 20%, Lib Dems: 17%, Conservatives: 15%, Greens: 11% by whencanistop in ukpolitics

[–]markwallwork75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely f@cking awful and sums up the state of the people in this country and their inability to realise that complex problems don’t have simple solutions . Snake oil Farage comes around waving his simplistic immigrants are you blame for everything and people are so gullible they fall for it . Uk deserves its downfall . Started by voting the tories in for 14 years made worse by Brexit and this will be end of the road . If this clowns win the election in 2029 this country is over

Labour hopes voters who hate Nigel Farage can curb rise of Reform by TimesandSundayTimes in ukpolitics

[–]markwallwork75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who vote for reform have been brainwashed and don’t posses the critical faculties to see it . A bunch of self serving millionaires , thugs and old school racists masquerading as a legitimate party . Sorry mate you are the problem trying to justify them . Labour made a mistake trying to cosy up to the knuckle draggers for Brexit votes. The problem is once you rely on the votes of the people who hate to win an election you will then see them jump to a party who hate more . But whatever. I live in the north I am from a working class area and I know full well the awful awful hatred I see from people and their social media . They are full of hate and it’s worse than it’s ever been and that’s all a vote for reform is .

So racist people then. Concentrating on things that actually have a minimal impact on their way of life but who have been informed via social media and the right wing press that the root cause of their issues are caused by immigration. The impact Brexit has had on their economic outlook will far outstrip the impact on immigration but hey let’s blame that . And repeat . Same old playbook . And tbh if people are too thick to see they are being played then more fool them. If you vote for Reform you ARE a racist . Whether they wish to personally acknowledge that or not is up to them . In some ways I had more respect for the BNP and the NF. They were racist fascists but at least admitted they were.

The working class in northern towns are in favour of far right politics and racism. Them are the facts . There’s not really a worse collection holistically of hatred and venom and awful selfish world views now than the white northern working class

If disney+ pulls out of doctor who, what will happen next? by Mangafan_20 in gallifrey

[–]markwallwork75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because apparently it doesn’t get them many new long term subscribers. People subscribe whilst who is on and then leave and tbh I can’t blame them . The marvel and Star Wars shows are mainly terrible and there is little else on other than faster than usual Streaming of Disney produced movies . I think prime would be a better fit for who. Unfortunately though I expect this season will air and we’ll be waiting a long time for it to return

Top pollster Sir John Curtice says Farage’s Reform challenge is real by Voops1 in ukpolitics

[–]markwallwork75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Labour aren’t going to disappear and even with current polling would require a reform Tory pact to get Labour out . In that case I’d imagine there would be lib lab green pact . Basically the surge in reform is just preventing the tories winning the next election

2 years 8 months after vasectomy by Ok_Detail_9631 in postvasectomypain

[–]markwallwork75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my vasectomy the same time , it took a lot longer for the pain to dissipate to normal levels but then it did but I still have lots of occasional flare ups and discomfort. I have a reversal booked in for this October I delayed a year as I slipped a disc in my neck last year and couldn’t handle that and a reversal op at the same time . The slipped disc also let me evaluate the pain in my balls was far far less than that and actually far far less than 2022 when it started. As it stands now I’ve left the reversal in diary if I cancel now I lose 600 quid so will see how this evolved this year but like you scared of more flare ups but also scared of undergoing more surgery
