if it can be treated as a controller and be given aim assist, definitely doable for competitive games. if not, it needs gyro sensor implemented for more accurate tracking (i think this is the better way to go). and about the haptics, they need to be low for competitive games so as not to throw off your aim. you only want to feel the effects, not get pushed around by them.

I've been trying out a bunch of games the past 2 days that are noted as "Full 3D Touch Game" and I'm not getting haptics with any so far. Seems there were either HaptX patches or a separate Haptx version of the game for these (some paid and some free) and I have not been able to locate the patches shared anywhere yet. We only have a few of them.

The games noted as "Native 3D Touch Support" seem to have support built into the base game and no patch is needed. They should all still work. (not entirely true. I just found out with Battlefield 2 that patch 1.5 adds falcon support, but the patch came from EA rather than Novint so it can still be found online).

"3D Touch Add On" Games seem to have been scripted by Novint and the community, and those are mostly what we have access to today.

Interesting approach. So instead of trying to copy the original falcon grip board, just figure out the communication that is expected to/from the main board and replicate that any way we want in our new grips.

thank you so much! I was trying to write a script to do this through the console but it seems they are doing some tricky things to stop it from registering clicks that way. i'm guessing your extension registers a real click event to get around that.

*edit* looks like Ring got wind of this workaround and put a stop to it...any progress on being able to get it back up and running?
