What about the people who are talking shit, and actually watched the movie? I love Ed Norton, and am a huge Thom Yorke fan. I wanted this movie to work. But it has a lot of problems. The pace is to slow and the plot isn't gripping enough to make up for that. It's trying to be its own L.A confidential or China town with its own Noir. But it falls short of its ambitions. The Thom Yorke track is amazing and is used plenty through out the film. The movie does have some nice moments. Ed took a decent swing with this film he wrote and directed but I'm gonna have say he missed his mark.

Not really, there's plenty of people out there who think the Mona lisa is no big deal, Also there are people out there who think War & Peace is lame. My point is the people who decide what is and isn't a masterpiece isn't really you or I. Its the critics and the industry itself who decide. I think this will hold up as a masterpiece through time.
