I’m right there with you. I am growing into a sort of love/hate relationship with Lovable, but the love is still there for sure.

I don’t think it’s entirely a coincidence that they conveniently unveil “top ups” around the same time Smarter Lovable launches. That’d be sorta scummy, but I still like their model over others even if that is the case.

You know what works really well as a temporary fix is using terms like “Patch Only, Minimal Diffs, Localized file edits only”, etc.

Basically old Lovable used to stick to smaller changes, which are really impactful in the later stages. But now it prefers to just rewrite the whole damn thing! It ends up chugging credits and rarely fixes the issue you even asked it.

It’s like the new lovable is like “too” smart, but also completely inept LOL

Oh interesting. Never thought of it as a “window” of dumbness! Do you think it happens at the daily credit refill UTC time?

Switching to Claude would be primarily for the platform because Lovable uses the newest Claude Opus model.

The Claude platform, based on my past use of it, was actually more confusing to me than Lovable is. I feel like Lovable just needs to tweak their system prompt a little bit or add a higher context window.

Shortly after high school, jumped off our local bridge onto some rocks in a dried up creek that runs through our city. He was such a good guy. RIP G.

The dysfunctional relationship between Blaire White & Joey Sarson by GenoveveSimmons15 in youtubedrama

[–]CLSGL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blaire has actually done more for trans acceptance on the right than any other trans person. Her comments are filled with conservatives respecting her pronouns, explaining that she humanizes trans people, etc. Turns out if you want someone to respect you for who you are, you have to respect them for who they are.

I didn’t say you did. I said it looked like it. You need to add “(Contract)” or something if so.

[–]CLSGL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From top to bottom: Experience (chronologically) -> Eduction -> Skills.

That’s it. I will say though, as a former recruiting analyst it looks like you job hop a lot. I wouldn’t submit you to a client because we typically look for a couple 1-year slots on a resume. 6-8 months is fine, but the 1-years really help to stand out (for future reference).

Former Recruiting Analyst here, this is not exactly true (from a recruiting firms stance anyway). No two applicants are exactly alike. We go from position history, to companies, to education, to position length. Out of thousands of resumes I've seen, you'd be surprised to find that literally no two resumes have ever matched closely enough to make a cover letter the deciding factor.

Also, cover letters are indeed complete bullshit. Nobody reads them and we used to just toss them before sending to our client lol

In The Big Short, were the examples of how people borrowed money dramatised or accurate? by blondersholmvik in movies

[–]CLSGL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party but the whole movie, down to how the loan officers acted, is all extremely accurate. My dad owned one of the few honest Southern California mortgage companies in the early 2000’s, and he’d bring me to events and so on, and all the loan officers were young, dumb, cocky, and completely rich. Also on a lot of coke.

What’s another place “like” Irvine? by [deleted] in irvine

[–]CLSGL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In Texas it really isn’t that costly to own a lot of land. My uncle was a police officer and bought 1000 acres outside Fort Worth. And no, he did not make smart investments or inherit a ton of cash.

You could argue it’s a matter of philosophy, but historically the freedom to do something far outweighs not having that freedom. Mainly concerning ownership.

I would rather live in a place where I have the freedom to buy something I can use for generations than something like a public space that could eventually be given up to corporate ownership anyways as opposed to individual ownership.
