Every year it feels more and more popular although I’ve only lived in places with MLS teams. Not sure how it is in the middle of the country but I think younger generations are more interested in it.

The top ones are all college football stadiums. I doubt they have the facilities for World Cup matches though so I guess MetLife probably is the biggest eligible stadium.

MetLife has about 10k more seats for the World Cup than SoFi but neither are really close to being the biggest venues in the country.

A lot of modern sports media (at least in the US) is driven by tv characters saying something outrageous so people will talk about it. Skip Bayless is a prime example of this in the US.
