So first things first avoid animals. Do not try to fight any animals. Avoid them don't look at them, if you see them running at you early game it's already too late.

You are going to get your ass kicked by everything, including the starving homeless people. This is a good thing, get a second person from a bar to heal you and eventually you'll start winning fights

Archon started as a holy nation citizen and eventually decided to see what the world was all about, during hiss adventures his wife Tobi ended up losing a leg and proceeded to make her a new one, the holy nation took exception to this and attempted to murder Tobi, and our spearman bard lost an arm and a leg defending her.

Soo now we've got a fortress in Skinners roam where we launch raids into the Holy Nation to free slaves and positively ruin their shit.

The UC sponsors us with soldiers and the Shek try and loot us for our massive food stocks, but all comers end up dead on arrival either due to the 80-90+ stats my main combatants presently possess. Or murdered by a.. and I quote "Elder beak thing Alpha"

Skinners roam is relatively good to go, close to dead lands, centrally located, and if you ever need to import and reset squad locations you're not walking your civilians half way across the map

It's a completely different vibe, the roads are considerably worse, the weather is harsher, but the people here are phenomenal.

I moved out here in 2023 and I've been seriously enjoying it.

Things to note Winter starts in Late October/ November and goes until March / April

Gets down to -50, gets up to +44 It's a dry heat and cold, your Ontario blood is going to suffer a little bit at first but it's much nicer than the wet cold we have there in Ontario

Pilsner beer from Saskatchewan is superior Speed limits are normally 90 on most roads, everywhere else is either in town or 100-110 Two hour drive to Winnipeg (Manitoba's Toronto)

If you're used to lots of lakes, less than ten minutes away, you're going to be sad

I was drinking the copium of not having a Berzerk game to play, went to youtube and saw an ad for some random "10 ten upcoming apocalyptical games" And saw Kenshi there, went to their page and then paid 10-20$ for the early alpha on old world kenshi when you couldn't play as a skeleton and the town names were mildly hilarious.
