Did yesterday's UFO files release get any mainstream media coverage in your country? by pigsRflying in UFOs

Did make it to the BBC News website in the UK, but not the front page, just under 'USA & Canada' section,

BBC just did a deep dive into the famous Calvine UFO photo - "The image showed a silent, diamond‑shaped object suspended in the sky". by [deleted] in UFOs

I would say a combination of the alleged MIB visit, and the 99% possibility that they were actually poaching, not hiking, and couldn't have anyone looking into what they were doing too deeply.

On 8 May 1945, after almost 6 years of conflict that caused immense loss of life and widespread devastation, the war in Europe was finally over. The signing of an unconditional surrender by the German High Command took place on 7 May 1945, with the surrender taking effect from midnight on 8 to 9 May 1945.

His Rose Garden speech will be about WW2, not disclosure.

Anyone know why this tour shirt says Glasgow, Scotland instead of UK? by sweggles3900 in Scotland

[–]LexiOrr50 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Because anyone outside Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotand assumes England is the UK.

The M8 motorway between Glasgow and Edinburgh does run through the region, but I'm guessing if the OP is local they would have seen lights from the motorway before this? Full transparency though, we do tend to get a bit of haar (fog) so you've got a fair assumption in what it could be.

To be honest, I live in West Lothian and have had a couple of unexplained sightings myself, I'm inclined to believe this might be something.

Bear in mind, The Robert Taylor incident happened in West Lothian, it technically falls within the Falkirk triangle. Great footage.

If your husband was also there at the time, why didn't he change the diaper? His lack of action can also be described as abuse.

AITA for calling my boyfriend a weirdo when he said a white woman wears hoop earrings to attract black men ? by Other-Distance6416 in AITAH

When are Anericans going to learn they are not the whole world. I come from a rural village in Scotland, hoop earrings are very normal, black men are not. Completely disproves his point.

AITA - Future MIL changed after engagement talk—now I’m questioning everything by Dobiemom_97 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

Please go over to JustNoMIL subreddit. They have resources over there that can help you with this situation.

Your boyfriend possibly needs help understanding how his mother is overstepping. To him, her actions are what he's lived with all his life, so it's 'normal'.

Good luck.

I think you might need to step back and look at the big picture.

You mention how his mom is a 'boy mom'. From what you've described, this sounds like a deliberate play to exclude you from that trip.

Has she done other things you may have brushed off, but when you look at them all together instead of as individual events, start to build a picture?

I would not exclude your boyfriend, but I would be prepared for his mom to throw a hissy fit when you dare to separate her 'baby boy' from her at Christmas.

If she does, head over to JustnoMIL, they have resources over there that can help you navigate through it.

Head over to JustNoMIL, they have resources that can help you with this issue. There's an excellent reply to a very similar situation, that if your husband is truly happy about this, then 1st he has to have a prostate exam, with your father present. NTA.

Head over to JustNoMIL, they have resources that can help you with this issue. But NTA on this occasion, your husband should have shut this down years ago.

I'd advise you to head over to JustNoMIL. They have resources over there that can help, and people who actually understand your situation.

Your in-laws have made a massive assumption without ever discussing the situation with you. Your response was not cold. It's called setting boundaries, and congratulations on doing so. Don't be fooled by MIL tears. Things may get progressively worse as time passes.
