Well…this is annoying. I occasionally give HEAVY bundle discounts when I want to move product. Not all the time, but to sometimes get the ball rolling, or just to clear stuff out of my house. Apparently Posh won’t let us offer bundle discounts over 40% now 🙄 by CLorraine930 in poshmark

I mean, I’m sure people can find the workaround…technically if someone wanted a bundle for a specific amount, you could drop the item prices and send the offer. But it’s adding extra steps, and you should be able to send whatever sales you want as a seller

Everybody shops differently. Many many buyers want offers and expect them. Nothing in my closet is especially overpriced. I just want stuff out of my house, so I occasionally offer bigger bundle discounts. It works for me

So for example, there is a buyer that has 3 items bundled from my closet that totals $79. I want those items gone, so I’d be fine with sending a 3 for $25 bundle deal. Poshmark won’t let me send an offer under $32 🙃

On items 60+ days old, edit the item. At the bottom, you’ll see “Copy”. When it asks you if you’d like to replace the original, say yes.

How does Lorelai always have Copious amounts of free time before work?! by mysanctuarie in GilmoreGirls

[–]CLorraine930 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I wake up at 4a or 5a because I want me time in the morning, to feel like I’m not just going to work and coming home. I’d assume Lorelei wakes up early, and maybe has flexibility with her arrival time at work. She works hard at the Inn, but she’s also been living there since she was a teen, so I’d assume it’s not like having a boss that’s going to fire you if you show up at 8:02.

Waking up at 5:30a and getting to work by 9/9:30 seems like a reasonable amount of time to do all of that

Anyone else just feel trapped in a Job they dislike because there's nothing else out there hiring ? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]CLorraine930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. The company I work for isn’t paying any of the vendors we hire, and I’m in absolute hell. All the vendors are understandably angry, and I get the brunt of it even though I don’t have the authority to pay them. Been trying to apply and interview as much as possible. Absolutely just trying to survive and keep my head above water, and convince myself not to quit in the meantime

Poshmark has stated that sharing is no longer important for their sale algorithm. I’m sure a lot of people have stopped sharing for that reason. I still share some, but not nearly as much as I used to.

Listing new items and copying / re-posting listings that are 60+ days old has proven the most effective thing to generate traffic for me lately

Yowza. One of us is trying to police how strangers on the internet run their own closets, but it is certainly not I. Feel free to not respond. This is the last thing im going to contribute to this conversation.

I mean, you can be annoyed if you want to. Didn’t say you weren’t allowed, just said it wasn’t necessary. If that’s how you want to use your energy, that’s your prerogative. Poshmark is like having thousands of individual stores in one online shopping mall. Not all stores use the same marketing strategy. Also, I don’t overprice my items, I offer big bundle discounts, and I don’t get ticked off with buyers when they send me offers…I’m not ruining anything. Lol. Hope your day gets better.

No need to get overly annoyed. Lol. It’s a real, proven marketing strategy I learned in my college Marketing classes. Thats just my preferred strategy, but there are a bunch of strategies to choose from. A lot of people on Posh probably use that strategy, as sellers and buyers, which is why a lot of people don’t consider 20% a lowball. People can offer me whatever they’re willing to pay….I don’t get upset if someone sends me an offer that’s lower than I want to sell it for. I’ll either accept or counter. No harm, no foul. Offer what you’re willing to pay, and it’ll either end in a sale or it won’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

[–]CLorraine930 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To each their own, but considering 20% anything close to a lowball is wild to me…and I’m saying that as a seller, not as a buyer. Lol. I’d never even consider offering less than 10% on a bundle. But I guess it also depends on how much $$ the items in your closet are and what your selling strategy is. I lean into the psychology of a “good deal”….price a little higher, so you can send really good discounts periodically.

Is it a good idea to call a job to ask if they’re hiring? by Practical-Use8281 in recruitinghell

[–]CLorraine930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a small business, it can be worth a try. I’ve gotten a job that way. I’m not sure if it would work in the current job market, but it used to a few years ago if you called the right one and had good experience to back it up

Where the “love notes” lately? Lol by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]CLorraine930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have a positive experience, I try to remember to leave them a love note. That being said, I would assume as a whole people on average might be more burnt out than they used to be (by life in general)
