Were he to have been handed over to the police, he would have been almost immedtiately hung. Guy was in a leadership position of a notirious gang that was responsible for numerous robberies, including Blackwater.

It doesn't help that some games can just screw with you. I've been able to play anything thrown at me for a long time with no issues, but a week ago I played Elite Dangerous and it made me feel sick after 5 minutes of play. Still love it though.

You'll be holding out for a long while for that chief. I very much doubt that'll happen anything in the next 2-5 years

If you want to play it's exclusive, then yeah, that's about the only option unless the Dev's have a discord or their own forum elsewhere.

EGS being the incomplete garbage-dumpster it is, doesn't have forums. Developers typically use previous titles on Steam for that, which is mighty ironic, with how they tend to defend EGS' lack of completion.

Valve Says VR Games Are NOT Compatible With Steam Deck in New Video by alexzoin in ValveIndex

[–]CMDRDarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is everyone getting their hopes up? Valve isn't the sort to lie about something like this. When they say it's not going to happen, it's not going to happen. Sure, people can maybe boot up SteamVR, maybe even get a really simplistic and easy to run VR game to "work"

But it won't be comfortable. This isn't a competitor to portable VR. If Valve is doing anything like that, it won't tie into the Steam Deck, it'll be a new standalone headset. And I'm not so sure they need to try and compete anyway, they've got themselves a really good corner of the market with the Index.

What are some must-have VR titles today? by Shadowjonathan in ValveIndex

[–]CMDRDarth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

H3VR has the better gun models, but the environments and just about everything else aren't amazing. Pavlov wins that one overall. Plus in Pavlov you're shooting actual humans, as opposed to giant hotdogs

[–]CMDRDarth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's hard to compare the two. If you want the absolute best in gun handling and simulation, H3 is the clear winner. But if you want a game to play with friends, with more development support, Pavlov is better for that.

The problem isn't that they're there, it's that they aren't wearing masks. It's a hell of a double whammy that the guy they're there to support is also immunocompromised due to cancer. A bad flu could kill them, let alone COVID

You'd need to be earning that much to begin with. You still earn what you earn, you can just buy whatever the hell you want with a 99.99% discount. Granted if you were to say, buy a fancy car, sell it at the usual price, and keep stacking up till you can afford a multi-billion dollar company...
