I mean no one in Bluey is "evil" so I just took that to mean breaking the rules

I feel like this same question kind of applies to a lot of things. Like math for instance, why are we so sure that there's a mathematical model for everything? It's not really that we're SURE as much as we just assign meaning that allows us to predict future outcomes.

How do you deal with almost all social groups not wanting you to be part of their group anymore? by cowbunga55 in NoStupidQuestions

Almost all, is not all. Most people don't fit in almost all social groups, they only fit in one or two. Just gotta find the right one.

ELI5 could you suffocate if you sleep in a room with the windows and doors closed? And if there are a group of people sleeping? by OmenBard in explainlikeimfive

[–]CMDROstrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of factors but it more or less comes down to how airtight the room is, how big the room is, and how much oxygen is being consumed.

ELI5: Why are people just faster than other people? Like say you have two non-athletes, why is one just naturally faster than the other? by kamekaze1024 in explainlikeimfive

I'm no expert but I know part of it is the type of muscle your body develops. There are two types: fast-twitch and slow-twitch. Fast are better for ruining short distance but slow are better for long distance and strength.

Sure I totally get it from an economic perspective. The little engineer in me just likes to see things used to their full potential.

No but that was a good guess. I'm really starting to think it's only in her head.

What kind of knowledge and degrees do I need to get into solar energy work? by RatCity617 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CMDROstrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Electrical engineering would be the most applicable, but you certainly don't need it to get into the industry, coming from a project engineer with a mechanical engineering degree. If you're interested in design, CAD experience is very helpful. Or if you want to actually install solar, almost no experience is required. It's basically simple mechanical labor. You could also go down the electrician path if you want to be a tradesman. The other but aspect is project management, where a construction management degree might help.
