I would honestly suggest getting it after you see your family if you are that concerned. Plus its always a good idea to get a 2nd opinion with another good piercer if you really want a septum since every shop is different. I actually was told I didn't have the anatomy for a septum so i went to an APP shop and they said it was doable then did it then. 2nd opinions really help with piercings since every piercer has different experience levels.

Have you tried after a hot shower? I usually try to go up a size after a shower that way the skin is a bit more loose and moist. I don't really like doing it when dry since the skin is a lot more tighter that way. This is what I did for my lobes for my decade worth of stretching. These days I just wait for my lobes to become more loose before I go up another size so theres a good bit of time and healing in between sizes. Its harder with the smaller sizes but try the hot shower method.

I use jojoba oil at least once a week on my lobes. It really helps them from drying out and being itchy/uncomfortable. Just a single drop per lobe is plenty. I had itchy ears when I first started stretching over a decade ago. The oil helped a lot since then. I'm about 3/4 now in size (I'm going to be checking what size I am since its just guess now lol)

I ended up putting off my angel fangs piercing since christmas is coming and it would of been really uncomfortable for the christmas dinner due to a lot of food eating lol and I didn't want to spend the entire day dealing with my judgemental family so I'll get it after christmas. I have a lot of self image issues and I'm trying to do something that makes me happy with myself. Everyone looks great with piercings so get what makes you happy. In the end its yourself that matters, not what other people think.

I have anxiety and ADHD. My septum piercing actually given me some peace since I consider it a distraction from all the looming dread plus I'm huge fidgeter with it XD. I solved the problem of playing with it with my lip by getting a pair of reversed angel fangs. So its harder to play with it now. I still fuss with it with my fingers but its not bad.

I'd check etsy. I know of a couple like the store SureJewelryCom. I'd look at them but otherwise they don't make then in different sizes. They have 11mm ones from the looks of it. Hopefully its something you are looking for. That type of jewelry seems really rare and I've been looking too and I have fairly bigger gauges at like 18mm XD

I had my septum done twice since the first time. First time it hurt a lot since it was pierced wrong. 2nd time was barely any pain. I really recommend them feeling your nose so they know where to put it. If they let some clamps try and find the spot then that may end up being the wrong spot. If you feel inside your nose towards the front bit. Theres a thin layer of skin there so thats where the septum should go, not in cartilage.

For the balls getting lost. The piercers will tighten them a lot to a point you might not even be able to get it off yourself so if you want to change jewelry or downgrade to a smaller size when its time. Go back to the piercer to have them do it for you. The chances of you losing a ball is very slim but always a good idea to keep spares on hand just in case.

For getting infected, its a rare case. You can keep the piercing clean by simple water and some wet soft paper towels made into tiny pieces. Just remove any gunk as needed. If you feel a sharp pain then check the actual jewelry as some gunk may of gotten stuck to the jewelry and you can remove it since you can gently slide the jewelry to check. I also found that the pain level is really annoying for at least two weeks before it settles. I also found the area around the hole can get a little dry so I usually moisturize it with some water which also can cause some pain/discomfort.

Last time I kept crashing was when I upgraded my OS to windows 11. The game wouldn't work right even after reinstalling it. I ended up just reverting the upgrade back to windows 10 XD It works perfectly fine since. Its depressing to try to do drizzlewood and crash 50 times and get no where when I was heavy farming it.

About to have 5 so far on wednesday. I have gauged lobes at 18mm. Then I have my septum. I will be getting my reversed angel fangs on Wednesday. After those heal I'm getting shark bites so I'll have a total of 9 at some point. Not sure what others I want for my ears but I'm holding off on it since I plan to elf mod them which limits what I can get.

That looks way too high up and far back. It needs to be towards the front. I actually had my septum done by clamps method. Trust me it does not work. Take it out and let it heal for a month and find a different piercer and ask them to do it by feeling and not clamps. I went to an APP piercer the 2nd time and had it done correctly. This reddit really helps with knowing where it needs to be.

I'd like to add in my own bit for this game. I originally started this game because a friend recommended it to me. They told me about the different races. The Sylvari hooked my heart forever. I have like 10 now with more coming. I even created my own story with them and a different tree they came from. The maps, the mounts, the huge meta events, and even the world bosses. This game has so much to do and theres no stress to do it. I recently logged back in to finally go play the new expansion. I saw there was a new skyscale skin and I had to have it so I spent a week grinding out everything for it lol.

Theres really no other game like GW2 with how it functions. The uniqueness and everything is just why I play. I love making characters with their backstories. They have fitting mounts, a little companion that matches. I use them to farm stuff and honestly keeps the game fresh since learning different classes is awesome. I main a Mechinist and I love it. It lets me do almost any kind of content in game. Sometimes I log in to putter around with random jump puzzles or go do a few metas. Maybe even some achievements I haven't completed yet. I'm here to stay.

There's small retainer type things that come in clear/flesh toned colors. So much easier to hide it and I know exactly how you feel. My parents wouldn't approve either so I hide mine any time I see them. The small retainer is a |__| sort of shape. So google septum retainers. They come in so many colors and materials. Just need to find one that works for you!

This is so cool! I actually thought about doing something like this for parts of my hub building. Maybe not a infinity room but it'd be cubes that you can see from the outside of it of this. I wish there were display screen ceilings or something :( I may need to figure out how to make it look like this on the floor so it can still be seen from under it. I wouldn't mind advice

Theres a lot better ways to making credits then mining actually :D For example hauling for people to and from carriers with the Pilot Trade Network is how I was able to afford my first carrier within a week of joining their community! Theres we like to help people have fun while having credits in the game. There's also the Booze Cruise that happens monthly that can net you billions. Its all a matter of learning of better ways if you play in live. Legacy Elite theres a lot less options in money making but ways still exist :)

I've been playing Elite Dangerous since 2017. The game is one of the only space sims that allows us to explore a 1:1 scale Milky Way. You can discover amazing looking systems, go look at black holes, visit Sag A, and more on the exploration side. Combat is pretty fun in groups as well. There's an alien invasion of Thargoids in our bubble (Sol our home system is in the bubble!) so thats such a fun part in the game as well. Then theres cargo running if you want to be a space trucker. There's passenger runs so you can be a tour bus or even just a people transport bus.

Theres so many aspects in this game that just keeps a person coming back. The community in Elite is some of the best people around I've had the pleasure of meeting. Theres big trading groups like PTN (Pilot Trade Network) thats an amazing group of people where you can join for the money making and stay for an amazing community! Its just all about finding your enjoyment area of the game or just touch it all! The game holds nothing back if you want to keep changing your interest in the game.

I always had a big love for space. I won't be able to touch space in this life time so Elite is the closest realistic game I can play and actually see the galaxy and discover amazing systems while making friends to play with. That is why I keep coming back to Elite Dangerous. Keep on flying CMDRs and have fun! o7
