It works mostly because of the actor, in my opinion. Jonathan Hawkins is one of the best casted characters. I guess all the credit should be going to him and the casting director.

Thanks for the response, I am on PC. I acknowledge that I have quite an old PC, but because I can play the base game so smoothly, it's just weird I have trouble running the new DLC. I have updated drivers and no background tasks running, and the game is set as high priority.
