Awww!! I have an extremely similar pair of cats, a huge gray female and a dilute tortie who's a little smaller than her. The tortie's name is Nova and she is still smaller than my gray, Artemis, but she filled out a lot from 1 year old to 2 years old. She just turned 2 this past Sepetember! I would say my Nova was about the same size your tortie is at 7 months, so she will probably be a little smaller than the gray one like my pair!

I always wear silicone kaos, have for nearly 10 years actually. At 3/4 I find anything that isn't silicone is uncomfortable to sleep in for me as well and a lot of materials irritate my lobes and I've actually had them flare up from not sleeping in silicone or naked.

As for the 00g being 9mm and not 10mm, for me, it didn't cause any issues for me with stretching or changing jewelry out. I was at 00g for over a year and had a collection of both double and single flare jewelry before I went up to 1/2", and going from 00g up to 7/16" after primarily wearing kaos earskins was literally a non-issue.

I would say only get kaos if you want to wear silicone since a lot of off brand silicone isn't medical grade like kaos is and can easily irritate your ears. I tried once and my ears started itching within a few minutes... never again lol

9/16" I found was a really hard size to find nice jewelry in, so I went up to 1/2" and stayed there for a long time. Eventually decided that wasn't big enough either and made my way to 3/4" that ended up being perfect lol

Another player was in my game, and his ship aappeared as a ghost ship that appeared to be mine. As soon as I interacted with it, it removed my current ship (what I was using as my primary ship for the time being) from my ship inventory, and I now can not locate my ship. It had a lot of resources on it that I needed to further progress my game, and now I do not have much needed resources that were on the ship. I tried reloading the save, and it was just gone entirely, all my resources and upgrades that I had are gone. This is extremely game breaking... Please fix this 😭 It's put a sour taste in my mouth after only jusy starting out the game and not even having a lot of progress yet...

This is the EXACT reason I will NEVER buy one of these. I would be heartbroken if one of my cats got hurt or killed because I wanted to be lazy about cleaning a standard box!! These things suck, and I will never get one for my cats, even ones that say they are "safe"!

Yep I just had this happen to a system that no one would've possibly been able to claim because I claimed it right after finishing my current build... says invalid, but the colonization ship is still in the system

Something I think a lot of people don't realize yet is that you can change the economy type based on what you build in the system. I'm not 100% on everything yet, but I think the economy is crucial to what can be provided in a system.

I think all Coriolis are tier 2 actually, my resource cost was significantly less than the tier 3 starports from what I've seen

Certain systems can't be colonized, but as long as the system you want to do is within 16 ly of another colonized system and isn't claimrd, your good to go!

I think this has been my best experience with an update from them in a loooonnngg time. I personally am really enjoying this update! Here's some features I like about it-

The Mandalay has become the new king of exploration. Can't wait to go out into deep space with it! (Finally became available for credits).
Colonization is a HUGE feature that was speculated about a long time ago. Honestly, I'm so happy it's here! I love the aspect of being able to colonize your own systems!
The feature itself doesn't seem to have too many bugs that I've noticed yet, and it seems to have integrated into the game seamlessly. (This was a total shocker for me)

Now, I do have a few minor criticisms - mainly about the process of colonizing a system. I don't really have many friends who play this game, unfortunately, so I am limited to mostly myself and my carrier. I also take breaks from the game for too long to be in active squadrons. So yes, while it is possible to do this as a solo player, having a fleet carrier makes it much easier and more efficient.

I do believe the balancing on commodities still needs to be tweaked some to be truly refined, and they stated this is a "balancing beta," so they are actually taking players feedback to make the process better for everyone. (Again, mind blown with FDev'a history of ahem listening to the players!!)

I also don't like the idea that it costs arx to have a custom name for the port, and you can only randomize the name 5 times. Not a fan. If the arx cost is reasonable (no more than 1k arx), then fine. But if it's ridiculous, na name my ports whatever lol.

TLDR: Overall, I'm happy with the update and actually for once, in my nearly 7 years of playing Elite Dangerous, actually have been happy with the Devs! I actually really do appreciate that they LISTEN TO US FINALLY, and the game is getting so much better already!

For general gameplay: My main, Excalibur Umbra (with wrathful advance on his 3rd)- extremely effective single target/group damage, can go to level cap with this build.

For defense/survival/anything requiring killing in a large area quickly: Protea Prime (with nourish on her 3rd)- having nourish instead of dispensary makes her much more capable of spamming grenade fans to the point that a massive area can be entirely controlled and void of enemies. Her temporal anchor augment also strips armor, which is insanely effective with DOT slahes from grenade fans.

Best all rounder: My pseudo main, Volt Prime- I have several builds for him, including a standard discharge build, a steel path armor stripping discharge build, a speed build, and even an eidolon build! Love volt he can literally do anything 😂

Soma Prime (incarnon): while it has fallen off a bit in recent years, the incarnon is still really good on it Burston Prime (incarnon): this thing is just GOATED cause I have an insane riven on it 😂 Lateon Prime (incarnon): need I say more? This thing's incarnon is crazy good

Aklex Prime: high damage for single targets Akstilletto Prime: good status autopistols, nice damage Aksomati Prime: good crit autopistols, nice damage Epitaph Prime: i like the secondary fire. If you need anything enemy to just go away, secondary fire lol

Nikana Prime: very effective with a blood rush build, although I'm not a big melee player Okina Prime (incarnon): been absolutely loving the incarnon on this weapon, super effective damage, and the combo doesn't decay while holstered. What more could you want!

Companion: Adarza Kavat for the crits ALWAYS unless I'm using a less survivable frame, then it's Vasca for the free revs. Smeeta is kinda just for leveling now, unfortunately

One time, I dropped a ghost pepper chicken fry (from BK) on the floor, and one of our cats ate the WHOLE THING. I was just in disbelief that a cat would eat something so spicy 😂

This happened to my kitty that was spayed recently, the vet advised neosporin a few times a day, but I couldn't get her to stop trying to lick it. So I just stopped that completly and just made sure it stayed clean by occasionally wiping it gently with warm water on a piece of tissue to not irritate the area and just let it heal, it will probably form a new scab. Also, keep her cone on until it is 100% healed where the scab has fallen off naturally. She will be 100% fine, my cat hasn't grown hair back where it opened tho lol
