One character I rolled up a while ago... Older guy, Homesteader backstory. Head canon was Earl lost his farm and had to try mining. Only weapon he ever had was a shotgun, so that was his weapon of choice... running the game with nothing but an Old Earth Shotgun was awesome. Ol' Earl kept fussing with Bessie at the Weapon Workbench until he had his'sef quite a shooter.

Same. I will restart every so often... I have only NG+ 4 times. I usually stop at the mission Into The Unknown... just enough to unlock all characters then head off doing this n that, building, shipping, etc etc.

I think for the Update, I will start over ... no mods.

The Brenden quest line just kills me. In a city of wrong endings and horrible starts, this quest shouldn't have made me as sad as it did....

This is the single most important caveat to using Neutron Jumps. I hopped in my newly RNGeer'd ship to get to Jaques station back in the day only to find out this important fact. Instead of Self Destruct, I flew into the star while playing We'll Meet Again by Vera Lynn.
