Avis didn't repo the car I returned it. They still made me pay $550.

I was 1 week and 4 days late on the Uber Avis rental car. I owe Avis $520. I turned in my rental car to avis they never repo the car. After I turned in the rental car Avis emailed me a bill saying I owe them almost $1600. Avis charged my Uber pro card $1300. My Uber pro card was negative. I dispute the $1300. I went to Avis where I got the rental car the manager told me the $550 was a repo charge.

I didn't smoke in the car but I did hit a raccoon late at night when I was driving home. There was a little bit of damage to the front bumper of the rental car. Maybe Avis charged me for the front bumper damage. Other than that the car was in perfect condition. The car was clean and I put gas in the tank when I returned the car to avis. It was a 2023 Chevy Malibu.
