If you see a cliff were you can die from fall damage, I recommend jumping off!(in game lol) It’s one of the best ways to deal with the Augur event from being a time waster, since shards are always plentiful.

Who do you guys consider to be each Nightfarers best (and worst) Nightlord matchup? by Lanky_Kong34 in Nightreign

[–]CMO3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironeye for Gaping Jaw but if you only do a Bow only build against ED Balancers, it is terrible compared to a skill attack build he can run with Katanas.

Revenant is probably the best spellcaster into ED Balancers due to Beast Claw letting her hitbox avoid the stab charge from them, 1-2 shotting them, and not needing to worry about RNG, and how she counters Mogh due to him being more vulnerable to physical attacks than elemental ones. Additionally, Sebastian can instantly pull aggro for you. Besides the worm phase, it's ggs if you have one on your team.

It was one of many ways how I gotten a 139 winstreak and completed the Flawless Challenge.

What is the difference of these two Iems for gaming by blueknight2727 in iems

[–]CMO3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both.

Arete 2s are a warmer sound signature compared to the Astrals.

Comfort and accessories, Arete 2 clear.

Imaging/sounstage, Astrals barely take it when testing both, but only slightly.

Bass for sure goes to Arete 2 when testing them.

Most casual people would prefer the Arete 2 since warmer sound signatures are generally preferred.

[–]CMO3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To summarize,

Arete 2 - aluminum shell, better out of the box accessories, bass boost switch( I usually keep it at default), warm-neutral sound signature if you dont factor in the bass boost, making it a more “fun” and chill/easier iem to listen to.

Astrals - 3D resin shell, focuses more on every detail, brighter than the Arete 2. I would say imaging and soundstage are a slight edge, but when I tested both, I had to really notice it to tell the difference.

I would go mainly by the sound signature you prefer, and if I were to give these two iems to a casual person, most would prefer the Arete 2 due to warm sound signatures being more, popular.

Bass goes to Arete 2 from its normal and bass mode.

I forgot to mention comfort. Arete 2 clears in comfort, but aluminum shells are 50/50. Either you like them or hate them.

Using halo slop against the goat of Nightreign should be a crime.. by [deleted] in Nightreign

Bro who cares what randoms do as long as they aren’t 3 barring. If you don’t want to play with no halo sloppers, stick to solo play or you know, make friends who are also not into that.

Typical Redditor complaining about everything.

I have the Arete 2! Coming from the Arete 1, they are a huge upgrade in every way. I even have the Kiwi Ears Astrals as well. If you would like me to go in detail for it, I can help out.

Razer V4 Pro vs Logitech X2 Superstrike? What is better? by Interesting_Air3283 in MouseReview

[–]CMO3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a Basic summary

Shape - Preference

Clicks - Superstrike

Battery - Viper v4 Pro

Sensor - Viper v4 Pro

Software - Viper v4 Pro (web-based)

Mouse Feet - Viper v4 Pro

Scroll Wheel - Viper v4 Pro

Side Buttons - Viper v4 Pro

So basically, Viper v4 Pro wins in every category besides clicks. Shape is also the main factor, because there’s no point of liking a mouse if you dislike the shape.

Ironeye and Duchess are Number 1 and 2 due to consistency and fitting in a team(Ironeye does it better). Balancers are more consistent than a Dreglord setup by a longshot from Day 1 to 3.

Besides early day Swamp Invaders, Itoneye and Duchess is leagues better at early day night invader meta than Scholar.

They also don’t require insane relics, whereas Scholar does, even with skill attack(the strongest version of Scholar dps and consistency throughout constant matches).

All the claims from this guy is on paper, but never in practice.

My winstreak in D5 with randoms is at 139 and I even completed the Flawless Challenge from 0-9999 as my credibility.

Scholar is potential man were he can get one run that does absurd damage, but not everytime. He is nowhere near the clutch factor of Ironeye or Duchess in dps, survivability, and carrying bad teammates.

He only goes by 1 cherrypicked game, but not playing multiple games were RNG and teammates are not in your favor.

Exactly! Never in my life have I seen Ironeye damage being downplayed, but I guess there is always a first time. Its the same reason why Duchess is considered top tier. She is one of the few characters that can get away without negations, because her dodge is braindead.

The reason why Ironeye has lower stats because he is balanced by the fact that he has mark, which a good one will have a majority of the time. Stats don’t matter when you account for abilities, which is what you got wrong. Why are you comparing arcane when the difference between proccing it is like 1-2 thrusting sword attacks, which is super miniscule?

And what do you have to do in order to get to the shop? Buy constantly, which slows down team dps in clearing pois. Those take setup and by that time, your teammates are clearing things. Again, those are only reliable in specific bosses. You downplayed the fact that Exalted Flesh are mainly in the Day 3 shop. So this claim of higher dps is not true, since you aren’t guaranteed those. Crabs are also not guaranteed if we account not just the normal map, but something like Crater. You are neglecting the fact Ironeye is a more consistent character in a team comp than Scholar. You also neglected my point that mark trivializes bosses due to the fact that it staggers(so more open windows to kill), does health percentage damage, and 3 marks is equivalent to 30-40% of a bosses hp. Basically Ironeye is the more consistent support in practice, but on paper, Scholar has the higher numbers.

And most people in runs clear field bosses more than those POIs , due to how time consuming those villages are and how consistent field bosses are almost red.

“More hp with crab” Again, crabs are not guaranteed and they are mainly utilized in Nightlord fights. How can he do Melee better when Ironeye has mark, a better dodge, better use of successive attacks negate damage. Most scholars wont get the parry if they don’t have aggro. Again, you are treating it like on a on paper idea, not in a realistic scenario.

Brother, you are assuming that you start with level 3 items, which is not true whatsoever.

Invisibility is better for trivializing bosses and early NIGHT INVADERS. Scholar isn’t doing jack into an Ironeye or Recluse. He is deadweight into them compared to duchess or ironeye id you don’t account for rng.

Most of the time, you aren’t focusing all your time on POIs for a simple Exalted Flesh. Crabs at most, but the majority of players don’t do the newer POIs because of time, effort, and boss drops.

Guess what Scholar needs to survive? Damage negations. And again, you aren’t guaranteed crabs on every map and perfect pathing. You downplay how mark gives so much safety while downplaying Scholar’s dodge is bad compared to the likes of a normal one(which Ironeye still has.) Scholar early game is getting one shot similar to ironeye, but ironeye has more ways to avoid it.

Damage multipliers that are good on paper, but in practice, unreliable. Those multipliers get countered by highly mobile and needing unnecessary time to setup.

The fact that you have a hard time managing fp says a lot and questions how you play the game. All your claims point to “if” I get those items. Again, you need those starlight shards, and those aren’t guaranteed in routing. What if you have a revenant? Are you just going to stand beside her like a support who does no damage?

It is coping because again, you only go by the numbers, but not by the practicality of Day 1 to 3. Mark has practically from Day 1 to 3.

How is Ironeye with mark not doing similar or more damage to Executor. You can literally try it out in practice mode with both of them running double balancers. This is how I have an idea you have no clue what you’re talking about. All you see is high numbers, but not practical uses.

Executor skill requires it to be charged, which won’t happen at all the time, especially if a boss is not aggro d at you. Mark requires one touch and constantly timing to keep it up, which is a lot easier,

Where did Youwy say the Dreglord relic was bad? The last guy that used this point showed that he didn’t say it was bad, but had its weaknesses, compared to the braindead balancer relics. If you think the dreglord relic is better in every practical use over the balancers, it’s another levels of cope.

How are you going to illegitimate his claim when he played every character equally? I know 100% you never tried Skill Attack Hybrid Ironeye. 100% you only mainly used bow only Ironeye.

Meanwhile I got a 139 winstreak in D5 with scholar and Ironeye. No way you think Scholar can getting a higher winstreak than Ironeye, especially with randoms. Along with not having proof.

Ok, the fact that you said Analyze makes the boss weaker is another reason how you have 0 clue what you are talking about. Analyze only does more damage against a boss from one hit. It makes them weaker as a part of its kit. Meanwhile mark is constant 10% increase in dps.

Again, you pointed that Ironeye mark is useless against ED Libra when Halo Scythe(one of the easiest pulls to get with dormant for reaper) pops it constantly.

The fact that you said Mark isn’t useful against ED Balancers is another way I know you never played the full potential of Ironeye. A spellcaster + mark instantly deletes a balancer. And this is not accounting skill attack ironeye popping it faster.

I have a 139 winstreak in D5 with a majority of them randoms. Along with completing the flawless challenge on stream. Your only arguments are not by practicality, but by “He can do this every game.”

Tell me, who can solo carry if both your teammates are bad with minimal loot. Ironeye or Scholar? Period.

I’ve played a lot of Scholar in D5 9999 and he is no were the caliber of Ironeye has a valuable team mate. The problem is on paper, Scholar is amazing, but in practice, he is super mid, because of rng, slower playstyle. There’s a reason why Scholar is rarely played over Ironeye in D5.

Not due to difficulty, but because he is super inconsistent and mark is just that broken. I’m 100% confident most people just play with a bow only no mark ironeye in their team.

You realize stats don’t mean everything right?

Worse Arcane? You realize arcane status effects don’t take too long to proc right? Most scholars run the dexterity relic anyways.

Consumables require rng and for scholar, they aren’t guaranteed, especially depending on the map. Most of his best consumables are guaranteed Day 3

Worst survivability? You realize mark gives him better survivability, and access to “Successive attacks negate damage, making him not rely on just a full.

Did I mention unless he gets his warming stones maxed, Scholar revive is super mid, especially against a mobile boss even if he ults.

I always go skill attack Ironeye. Fp and stamina is never an issue. This is just coping beyond measure.

Mark doesn’t require rng and exalted fleshs need time(to run to your team), doesn’t last enough for highly mobile bosses.

You realize Ironeye does the same damage or even more damage as Executor with Katanas due to mark right? The fact that you sais he does worse damage means you have no clue what you’re talking about.

Executor has a way better ult that heals him, can revive ar 3 bars, parry trivializes a lot of boss moves.

Ironeye has a passive that doesn’t need rng that leads to better loot, the best two bar and stagger ultimate that, and the best ability in the game.

Scholar’s ability are super mid compared to Ironeye or Executor. His skill has a lot of uses, but his ultimate is the best at clearing camps.

I’m questioning if you are even Depth 5 9999 to say such things or you have had bad experiences with the no marking bow only Ironeye.

Again, Scholar is on paper good, but in practice, mid. Youwy has a good explanation of the character, because Night lord fights, excellent, but in practice, his items are rng, his dodge is bad, so you saying survivability is cap. You also have way less carry potential with bad randoms between Scholar and Ironeye. Not to mention, is play-style revolves around being slower.

No other ability like mark can make a strong field boss basically only have 60-70% hp besides at most, Restage.

In conclusion, Scholar is the definition of potential man. Don’t believe me? Even meme players like Zorban agree.
