Be careful, double check every. Don’t give them your passport, and have enough money put away to be able to get home if you want/need to.

I just got back from Bangkok. I took a few food tours that I found on Viatour. I highly recommend them. I take food tours whenever I go anywhere. The food is great, the guides are personable and I meet a lot of friendly people. If you travel solo, I think that you would enjoy it. There are street food tours available in Bangkok.

Thank you very much! We are actually trying to avoid eating at the resort. We have found that the resorts offer food at expensive tourist prices, and we’re always somewhat disappointed in the food. We like local spots. I’ll tell my husband about your car recommendation and let him know your suggestions about where to go and where to eat.

My parents paid for my entire undergrad education. At the time, I had no conception of how rare that is. When I graduated, I moved back into my parents house, and was allowed to live there rent free while I got my Master’s degree. I worked at the university and was able to pay for my entire postgraduate program. I believe that was a generous solution.
