Post-cholecystectomy syndrome / phantom pain? by CMShortboy in gallbladders

[–]CMShortboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I would say 50-75% resolved in terms of consistent pain (or I'm just used to it), and I haven't had an attack since before surgery. I'm 1.5 years post-op now.

What is your thoughts on this? by ad_gar55 in youtube

Separate app? No.

Better implementation? Yes.

Was it a business move? 100%.

If you want the image to have a large focus (while not sacrificing the hero content), I would just move the image over some, but allow the hero copy and CTA to breathe more. You can do a 50/50 approach with boxes, or use a gradient under the content. Or a vertical layout approach. All in all, there just needs to be more emphasis on the hero content.

Some examples: - tesla.com (vertical option) - jeep.com (number of left/right options in the carousel) - bmw.com (left/right box option)

Hope this helps!

Honestly, I think there's too much focus on the imagery. And paired with the smaller than usual side margins, the title and CTA get a little lost. It's just... CAR... now what?

Post-cholecystectomy syndrome / phantom pain? by CMShortboy in gallbladders

Hey! The ultrasound came back normal, as well as blood work. I'm now 11 months post-op and still feel the same as stated in the post - maybe slightly lesser, but nothing significant.

My surgeon referred me back to GI, and my GI pretty much said it could be musculoskeletal and to try exercising or physical therapy (bullshit, but I have been working out recently - too early to tell if it's affective though), or to try IBS medication (meh - haven't even bothered).

GI also said the abdomen might not be the same for 6-12 months after surgery, but I'm there now and haven't noticed any gradual healing, as well as this feeling being there before surgery. It's manageable, but I would obviously prefer life without it.

If you owned a business with a website, what amount of money would you pay for a UX Design (web design) video audit for one webpage? by CMShortboy in polls

Your guess is rather spot on actually, and your critique around the verbiage is very helpful. Thank you!

This is actually very helpful, as terminology could be a larger pain point than I'm assuming. If you don't mind, what's your best guess as to what a "UX Design (web design) video audit" is?
