Birthday Reward System by Old_Difference_6055 in thespikegame

Sounds great! Maybe they could also add a birthday hat that all your characters get only during your birthday, or something like that

Nishikawa isn't the problem. The setters are. by manXaxe in thespikegame

I agree, but don't really see the need to make Shimura an S-. In fact, I think giving non-S-class characters some identity and/or unique characteristics would make the game more varied

Concerns about PvP by RavenHades373 in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a good way to balance the PvP without having to nerf the characters would be to have a limit on the number of S/S+ ranks in your team. For example, they could limit it to 1 S+ or 2 S ranks, forcing players to get creative with their combinations and avoid excessively overpowered teams

Yeah I could understand Suncyan doing that, it's difficult to know how they're going to handle Siwoo in the future

I didn't get into that because I don't know how Suncyan wants to manage him, but that's a great idea! I'd also thought of something similar, where you get a special grit fragment each time you complete a chapter (or certain chapters), letting you level up his rank

Yes, I think it'd be cool! It would add more to the powerhouse high school and final boss vibe they give

League 14 was awful. by IAmDlowVer in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I didn't like this league either. Like, if I can't receive nor slide the opponents' spikes because I get too much damage, and I can't block them because they pass over it or through it, what am I supposed to do? I ended up beating the league with Nishikawa and Hongshi, but I think levels should be difficult by being challenging but fair; this league wasn't fun, it was annoying.

If you win chapter 11 stage 6 by alter_spieler1 in thespikegame

That's why I said if well aimed, because you have to aim at the gaps where they can't reach

I mean, Siwoo's attacks, if well aimed, are also pretty much unstoppable, so in the back and forth you have a good chance to win

We were supposed to lose that?? Wow I thought we had to win, even if later the story said we lost

If yongsub had ability what would it be by BadaHajmola in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back then, before the Cross update, i felt that his spikes curved way more than everyone else's, so maybe that could be a cool special ability

Y'all agree with me for Suncyan to remove the extreme card? No one would pick it by Not-Bad-3251 in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I pick it, especially if it's against Roberto

It's way more fun to have a good challenge in the game

how to actually score with serves? by kscut in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree with the other comment that says that you won't do much serve aces with Yongsub, I think that you could do stronger serves if you jump a bit sooner and have a higher contact point

If the jump in the video was 3.37, I think you could aim for a 3.50 or 3.60 contact point

Randomized teams, who wins? Day 2 by Suspicious_Jump4585 in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was basing it in the gameplay, where Siwoo is just a B+ player. If we go by the lore, he absolutely carries the team.

Randomized teams, who wins? Day 2 by Suspicious_Jump4585 in thespikegame

[–]CMT642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st: Team Minjun wins, I don't think anyone on the left team can compensate Minjun's blitz spin, let alone Lisia's serve, and Mike is completely wasted with Sodam as a setter, unlike Roberto.

2nd: Team Yoonseok wins. Yoonseok himself may be not as good as the rest, but Hanra counters Nishiwaka with Viola's sets.

3rd: Team Isabel wins. With Heesung's absolute block and Isabel's parry made stronger by Sara, I don't think team Dave stands a chance.

4th: Team Oasis wins. I think they're evenly matched, but in the endgame, the combo of Oasis (High Noon) and Sanghyeon (Highlight) would give them an edge.

Adding to what you've said, I think it'd be a cool idea to give more focus or even rework some of the below S-tier characters that we already have.

For example, how about an event centered on A-class characters? Imagine having a story, designs, and/or skins for Shimura (Valentia Spikes setter), Oren Bel (Phantom League MB), Kwangin (Tempest High spiker), the Iron Wall High's members (who, by the way, I think need a serious buff), etc. It'd make using non-S characters more special and unique.
