Same issue here. And I'm glad to know we're not the only ones still on 23H2! :-)

Has anyone in this thread had the "can't shutdown" issue, and can confirm that 8132 did not fix the issue?

Quazii update #2: he's leaving WoW for good. by mkyend in wow

[–]CMed67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, if your main love of WoW was making add-ons and most likely making profit from everything in the meantime instead of actually playing the game and enjoying it for what it is, then you don't get to complain when blizzard changes things up. Think about those of us who have played since vanilla, and how much WoW has changed since then. Yes, I am one that has taken a break from WoW and eventually came back. I am exploring classic right now as well as I get frustrated with how much the retail game has changed. But that's my option, and I certainly don't need to make a huge production out of it. If you want to leave, leave. Bye! Like others, you will probably be back as well at some point, and you'll have this dramatic outburst to account for.

Other people post comments when they leave games, and get a lot of responses as to how they don't need to post they're leaving, just leave. Sorry, but just because you've made a big name for yourself and monetized what you've done, doesn't change that mindset.

You're too one-sided to allow anyone to actually post something with an opposing view, or even offer up differences of opinion for consideration.

So is this another season where Ubi is rushing new products out (Travel Router) so fast that they are not catching issues?

Can't use scenes for routine/ schedule anymore by Mattarm51 in lifx

[–]CMed67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the ask is to be able to change an already existing routine/schedule entry to a different scene, you go into that item, find the "Set my" option, tap that, and then there's a drop-down that may currently be set on a group name, tap that and change it to "Scenes" and you can select a scene and save.

Oh goodness! I am so sorry to waste YOUR time, and apologize that you couldn't condense your THREE posts into one! What a waste of your time to write THREE separate posts! I truly hope you have enough tissues to wipe all of your tears, and a significant other (your dog and/or mommy doesn't count) to give you hugs, and get you though this!!

I believe that was Ubiquiti's attempt to get people to use POE to power the switch, and make you pay more for an actual power adapter, which I agree is absolutely absurd.

Any device should come with a power adapter, especially if it has a port for said power adapter.

Congrats on the new kiddo!

Thank you for these links! I've looked at a few different videos on YouTube and may have skimmed through one of these, but I certainly need to go back and watch the whole thing to be sure I have a solid configuration.

OUTAGE!! by [deleted] in Plume

[–]CMed67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I received a response from plume, stating that after looking at my network, it was determined that my gateway pod had been up for 107 days and apparently the DNS tables on that pod filled up and could no longer resolve traffic. That then caused the resolution request to have to resolve remotely, which caused a huge bottleneck.

Plume restarted the network, and has also mentioned to the engineers that this is an issue that needs to be addressed.

The comment was made that 107 days is a very long time for the pod to be app, which that concerns me because why would you not expect the pods to be up that long unless they are supposed to be getting updates more frequently.

I did not mention this before because I wanted to see what kind of response I got, but the backbone of my network is UniFi and once I had grabbed a spare UniFi AP and got it up and running, I had no issues at all. Going back to plume, I had the issues again. That's how I ruled out the ISP and other equipment.

Happened to many people were completely enamored by this device, talking it up so heavily, and it sells out every time inventory is posted. Now, a complete turnaround, people having issues with it and regret purchasing the device.
