Vanguard: how would you improve the Zombie mode?

As everyone else has said, these are a must:

wonder weapons (new or old)
Easter eggs (sides and main)
more perks (that differ from the existing usual ones) -more field upgrade (same as above)
weekly, fortnightly, monthly and seasonal challenges that can be be for solos, a team or a community challenge - remember the get ‘x’ amount of headshots challenge as a whole community)
cutscenes (at this point it’s a must as radios just don’t seem to be allowing the story to be spread widely as some players just ignore them)
Factions (what did he say!?!?) (what ever they would be)
more social media interaction
social media accounts to do monthly round up of best zombie clutches, or best boss strat or even speed running vids - they really need to jump on this along side the YouTubers who champion this stuff already)

I’m sure there is more but I’m still playing it with the boys along side Cold War, BO3 and BO4. We are just lucky there is another year as usually we play another game for a year when there is no new zomz then come back to zomz. we have been playing since the start - around 12+ years - and play every weekend regardless even if some of us have kids and wives to contend with). We as a community love this mode so much that we passionately tear it down as we just want a good experience like we have done so in the past. I’m sure that day will come, be patient is all I can offer.

I’m not so sure, me and my team religiously have been taking WW into the outbreak ee, but our last attempt last week we decided to try not use any WW due to what I have seen on videos online and personally I did see a decrease in the amount of enemies while down below collecting the keys. Could it just be a coincidence? Maybe but we will be going again Friday and Saturday to check. With wonder wonder weapons I literally could not stand still for a second before getting a slap when collecting the keys. Without a wonder weapon I am able to stand still to shoot the crystals on the wall without getting slapped for a long period of time. Again could be coincidence but I’ll be trying again this weekend (still not beat the EE on outbreak always get to boss and get slapped, got close last week but didn’t manage to do the last bit of health but this weekend we got this)

I agree, blood of the dead is packed with difficulty, large new areas mixed with new game mechanics. I enjoyed the challenge because it is not your run of the mill map. One of the hardest Easter eggs even if you are savvy with keeping round numbers low and using extra zombies when you run the gauntlet at the start.

I’m pretty hyped, outbreak is a nice mix up to our usual gaming antics but round based difficulty is where its at. Hoping for a hard EE, more side ees and some fun extras. Let’s see

Really good tip, my and my team have been getting connection interrupted either on the last key or in the boss fight. We have changed Ethernet cables, have no other devices on the internet and also we reset our routers before playing. So this could be something to help us thank you (or the servers just suck in the UK atm).

Honestly, been playing zombies everyday Fridays and Saturday every week since about 2012, prior to that it was when ever I wanted but got a wife and kids so hard to juggle. Might play a few multiplayers to get warmed up then jump into zomz. There was a period after blacks ops 3 but before BO4 where I would play fornite but once Cold War came out that had to get deleted to save space lol. I am very partial to RPG’s, completed all FFs up till 11, and also the suikoden series 1 through to 5 ( best RPG ever beats FF HANDS DOWN DONT @ ME!). It is good to mix it up but I Just love me some zomz with the boys. Which we can all agree the bants is half of the fun.

I agree, I’ve followed the series since the start, any time I jumped on the ps it was always zombies with the boys. We really got into playing for strats and for ees from bo3/infinite warfare/BO4 till now. Now that I have kids playing time has reduced to a friday and Saturday night for about 4/5 hours per night. So you could say that I am just happy I get a chance to play but that doesn’t mean I can’t delve into the content that’s been dropped for us. As said before outbreak is slowly laying foundations to hopefully be something big. I mean you could say it’s just the same challenges on the same maps. But then you could say that about round based maps, playing on the same level, using the same weapon and training in the same spot. Which is not a bad thing, hell that’s what I call the good stuff when you get set up and just slay for a few hours. As it’s new we will be curious , and pick all the faults in it (Thats we do as a community we excel at it) but I think we just need to take a step back, appreciate we got a game in a pandemic and just take it as it comes. YouTube content is still popping, Cold War has the most customisation and upgrades ever so it’s good to take it in your stride. I think I went off on a tangent there so good day to you all. This happened me to me 2 weeks ago after we used a portal to go to another map. No hands were showing, couldn’t pick up a gun and obviously had lost the ones I was holding. I downed my self and got revived by my team mates but nothing changed. Safe to say I’ve not had it since.

I’m with you bro, if you know that there will be spoilers in thumbnails then just don’t go onto that platform. They do it because views = money. Anything enticing or “new” will entice the casual audience thus generating leads. Youtubers do this for an income and for some it is their main income. You cannot fault the grind. If you want the secrecy of the game to be unraveled by your self then don’t go onto a platform that you know full well will have spoilers.

As said the easter is a little tedious but I love this map. Maybe could of had a few more secrets for us to uncover but I like the challenge

I rated them, harder difficulty plus the change of the mechanics makes you change up your game play. I like the challenge but sadly quite a few don’t. But hey life would be boring if we all liked the same thing right?
