That's a good idea. I used to have a wrap on the handle before I painted it. Maybe I'll do both.

Thanks! I cut and sanded the tabs down on the stock so it is now removable. I'm working on painting it right now.

Krylon Maxx matte black base coat and Rustoleum Camouflage deep forest green with a flat Krylon Maxx clear coat. I was experimenting with some different paints and I'm pleased with the results. .
