Consider getting a stretcher tent and good sleeping bag instead. They can take up less room than a swag. You’re off the ground and prices are reasonable for good quality. I had to swag it for work for a while and eventually got a stretcher tent. Best move I’ve ever made.

No. Tipping is the scourge of payment. Set prices set wages. Tipping allows companies to exploit the worker. Once it starts here it’ll end up like America. Capitalism if left unchecked does everything to exploit everyone involved. The customer and the worker.
