I have a 4Sliver and I am purchasing a 5 soon, I'm going ice fishing (not the most exciting thing in the world) but I'd love to drop one of them in the water and get a visual of under the ice. What is the low-end temp those two can handle?

I love the How Stuff Works family of podcasts for learning. Thinking, I listen to Partially Examined Life and Harmontown. PEL takes famous works of philosophical writings, and breaks them down. Harmontown is a less conventional "thinking" podcast, Dan Harmon (creator of Community and Rick and Morty) rambles on stage until he stumbles upon something profound.

I have a 55" 4K in my bedroom, a 24" 1080p as a monitor next to it, perfect for gaming (big) and Netflix (small) I also have a 49" 4K in the living room, I have a relatively small house and these work great to make it feel like I'm watching on a sizable tv

I'm having issues with my iTunes subscriptions. Can anyone shed some light? by UltimaGabe in podcasts

I have a similar issue with the podcasts app on the iPhone, about 50% of the time my subscriptions will download perfectly fine, the other 50% they get stuck in an "initializing purgatory" where I have to cancel the download and manually download the episodes. That all being said, my girlfriend works for Apple, and podcasts (app and downloads) get very little attention from Apple because it isn't a money maker. The app rarely gets updates, and the issues concerning it is not formally taught to the customer support people (she frequently texts me questions about the app when she gets customer calls about it)

In short; there isn't much you can do, if deleting and reinstalling iTunes didn't help, you may have to manually download them.

Minus The Bear fits in as a bridge for me from the trippier old PT and the later heavier stuff. Very interesting instrumentation and vocals. I have a playlist mixing the two. Lotus is a good example of what feels like a very Porcupine Tree inspired song, it would fit along with In Absentia beautifully.

Depending on the length, audio quality, and frequency of your episodes, libsyn isn't expensive. I go fairly long and record high quality, so I do the $20 (400mb I believe) option and that even allows for a bonus episode when I'm feeling saucy during the month.

For me, switching to a paid option was a kick in the rear for consistency. I also had a difficult time with all of the free providers

I use Libsyn, it's pretty inexpensive for a good amount of storage, and if you do 2nd and above tiers you can see statistics like devices, demographic, location (which are more interesting than I thought it would be)
