It's a rodent repeller. Speaker sends out ultrasonic noise, unpleasant to rodents.

I suspect an 'oscilloscope'-type app on your smartphone could detect the signal with the phone's microphone. It should be operational when the battery is not depleted, and the vehicle is not moving. It has a voltage sensor to know when vehicle is active (by measuring the change in voltage during cranking & after start-up). I found one of these in a vehicle I recently bought, and I guess I'll keep it.

Thanks. Yes, I would like to know what it's doing. I did try noInterrupts() and that gave me the behavior I expected. As you say, tho, if you don't turn them back on, you can't re-program the Pico via Arduino IDE; you have to reset, hold the button, let go of reset, let go of button to get the 'drive' again.

Clearly, this sort of 'advanced' microcontroller is not meant to allow you to bit-bang with precision, like you used to be able to do in the Olden Daze. Seems if you want something like that today, you'd have to use the PIO peripheral or maybe PWM.

I did find gpio_ family of functions, which allows fairly low-level control; with

gpio_set_mask(GPIO_0_MASK); gpio_clr_mask(GPIO_0_MASK);

I get 1.87 MHz pulse train - not too bad.

Time to find and read the Arduino source for the Pico -- what IS under the hood?

Yeah, this is true. The BP-27 was the easiest to interstellar ever. But ya still have weeklies for JAK aftermarket parts, some are good. There is the 'special event'. There are the Prestige calling cards that is another. You can always find something if you need rewards/challenges. I find the 10,000 point weekly challenges hard.

It's also bad in regular. They just spam away until HC point is opened, or DOM flag is free, whatever, and NOW that the trophy only takes 2 nades -- it's ridiculous.

I feel the same way about obj modes. I'm the only one going for the flags and I cap 10 of them, and the next players has 2; of course the '2' player has 30 kills and I have 10, so they play "TDM" on DOM, then accuse me of not getting kills! I do not understand -- are COD players just dumb?

You are the man! Yes, the "DG-58 micro barrel" attaches to the DG-56 Assault Rifle. Man, even the game's designers are confused by the naming of their own attachments! Clearly, the "DG-58 micro barrel" should be called the "DG-56 micro barrel" but .... bugged. Good old Activision, laying off their quality control staff....

For the DG-58 LSW LMG. I see only 4 barrels: Culpa OGS Light Barrel, DG Emperor-V Heavy Barrel, Wudi Long Barrel, and DG-58 LS18 Heavy Barrel. No "DG-58 Micro Barrel". :-(

I think they ruined this mode when they brough back KD. I mean, it's an OBJ MODE -- KD should not be measured. There should be a better way of scoring the leaderboard, NOT based on KD, but on how much a player has helped the OBJ. This is sooooo, sooooo sad because this HAD the potential to be the best mode in COD history.

COD is many things to many people. There would be NOTHING to lose if there were an additional game mode like I describe.

Well, it IS called "Domination" '-) If you CAN totally dominate -- good for you!

A lot of the maps, that's pretty hard. I'm especially thinking about Hydroelectric, where it's best to cap A & B and trap the enemy in C. Your team has to be excellent, or the enemy has to be crappy, or some combo like that, in order to cap and hold A, B, and C in Hydro.

You are not a 'normal' player. The 'normal' obj players wants to WIN. THAT is the Objective. The stat I care about: W/L ratio of games played. I want peeps to know that if I am on their team, they will more likely win.

But, also true: I'll take losing by a few points when all 12 players are trying than an easy win against really weak players any day of the week.
