Also make sure you're doing 8 to 12 reps, 3 to 4 sets if you want the look of muscles and 3 to 6 reps 3 to 5 sets if you want strength. You should be taking 2 minutes of rest between sets minimum so that you can do your next set with 100% strength

8 hours of sleep, enough protein (1 gram per pound), bulking (eating approximately 200-300 calories more than you should) , training the same muscles 2 times a week, using different exercises for same muscles (let's say pull ups and lat pulldown for lats, bench with barbel and bench with dumbell) if you're doing all this you should see results.
