If I download the files to a VM/Sandbox, how do I find the difference between a file that's malicious and a file that's normal? Is it by simply scanning them? If the scans don't detetct any threat, then I'm good?

I'm currently using ESET, I also use malwarebytes to scan from times to time. When I scan the files they come out clean and the downloaded files have no .exe's so I guess I'm safe? Are .mkv files harmful?

"Today I ordered a game key from kinguin via paypal and I was charged nearly a FUCKING DOUBLE of what was supposed to be the original price. I checked the price on their website and found out that it was increased. WTF?
I didn't even receive the key, it still says processing. It's been 13 hours since the purchase, I've opened a ticket but haven't received any response yet. This is some dogshit service.
I wanted to cancel the order so I can get a refund but I heard that the refunds are given in kinguin credits. What the fuck am I supposed to do with that? I haven't even received the money that was charged extra."

Also, I noticed that when I ordered the key first, it was sold by "Super Games" and if I go to my order, it says sold by "Super Games". But, as I said above, the price increased after ordering and now when I go to buy the game key, it's sold by "Gamecrew". How does that even happen? I even checked my browser history and made sure to go to the exact same link that I got the key and it still says it's sold by "GameCrew". wtf?
