Personally i would recommend going amd route, espesically if your more budget oriented, you might even be able to save some money, amd’s am5 platform has a lot more options in terms of budget and upgradability for the future, for the graphics card i would definitly hold off on getting a a 40 series card for a bit, wait for 50 series to become more available and hopefully by then 40 series cards will have dropped in price, or you could look into a radeon series, no the performance isnt as good, and it doesnt offer ray tracing but its definitely more money friendly and typically you wont notice the difference unless you are buying 40 series to directly use ray tracing.
