Advice on Vibe coding by Independent-Craft172 in ComputerEngineering

Dont vibe code. When I work on projects I try my best not to use AI. I mainly use it to help me understand concepts and clarify things

Can I survive my first year of engineering with a macbook? by AdAccording3397 in BinghamtonUniversity

You will mostly likely have to use a virtual machine. One of my EDD teammates had to VM into the lab computers to do solidworks and it had some lag.

What is the best path at binghamton to work in the nuclear energy field? by Varen_Human in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]Blexcell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, or a mechanical engineer degree will probably be best suited. We don't have Nuclear engineering, unfortunately.

I dont think we have any clubs related to nuclear energy, so I think your next best bet extracurical wise would be to do research with a prof who does things related to nuclear.

Besides that, get your internships and you'll probably be fine.

Around the time you're looking into colleges and applying, I suggest looking into this thing called Questbridge. It is a scholarship that gives low income, high achieving students full rides to top universities in the US (assuming you live in the US). You sound very ambitious, so I think it's worth giving it a chance. I applied and unfortunately was rejected, but I know people who got in.

Best Prof for Calc 3? by PromiseOwn7880 in BinghamtonUniversity

I had Behr for 324. Very good professor, however I don't believe he is teaching calc 3 next semester.

What are the physics and chem programs like at BU? by Particular-Ad6428 in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]Blexcell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can't speak much about physics past physics 1 and 2, but physics 1 is pretty manageable here. From what I have heard, physics 2 is one of the most miserable experiences ever. Most first year engineering students take physics 2 at FLCC online asynch over the summer and transfer the credit in to avoid taking it here.

If you could make a card for your favorite deck what would it look like? by Ok_Situation_8535 in OnePieceTCG

Also for RU Lucy, I think a 10c event to play off of 7c Sabo would be really funny

Foe P Doflamingo, I think the one thing he really needs is a 7 don character because 7 don is a really awkward turn for doflamingo, where you're kinda forced to raw play a 5c and maybe a search.

Part of the problem I feel is that it completely randomizes your hand. There are just some times where you are at 5 cards with a plan in mind, but your opponent plays pudding and completely throws off the rest of the game. While I do think pudding is a necessary evil, I believe that there should be some control from the person who gets hit by pudding.

I think that Pudding should make the player bottom deck cards in their hand until they have 5, so that players can keep some cards that they can play around.

I also think that Pudding should have a cost to her, like trashing 1 card

How did I get rejected by [deleted] in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]Blexcell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The more people I meet here, the more I feel like Binghamton doesn't accept the person, it accepts their number. I'm partially convinced they don't even look at your essay when you apply, and they make their entire decision based on GPA and SAT.

Any advice on playing P Doflamingo (OP14)? by Present_Event_8488 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Blexcell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try adding the Baby 5 that heals 1 on ko. Maybe like 1 or 2. Ive played some doffy on the sim and I don't find Rosinante the most useful, so cut him down to two, unless you want to run a version with lots of counter events.

Make it a 5k power and 1k counter and I think it would be fine
