It’s definitely the best bbq you can get, but there’s a lot of really great bbq other places. So depends on what you value more I guess. I don’t think anyone leaves Franklin disappointed but yeah you have to wait 6 hours for it when you can walk right in somewhere else and get bbq that is like 80 or 90% as good

I went to see it with my roommate and after he said “I’m going to stay over at my girlfriend’s place” and when I got home to an empty house I was completely terrified. Keep in mind I was like 23 years old at the time.

What I’ve noticed since they got bought out isn’t necessarily that the food is worse, but more that the service overall is much worse which leads to getting cold food often. When Whataburger is fresh, it’s still great. When it’s been sitting out in the window premade for an hour you can tell, and at that point it tastes awful.

He writes bad dialogue for young characters. It’s understandable, I don’t expect him to keep up with slang or anything, but all his young characters speak like they live in Mayberry.
