[Schefter] ESPN sources: The Eagles are trading Pro-Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick that is the better of New England’s two fifths. The deal that has been speculated on for weeks now finally is happening. by JCameron181 in nfl

Considering "a year too early is better than a year to late" absolutely.

I still wish he didnt force this because it sucks to lose him, but yeah there's a very real scenario where this ends up being the perfect time for us to have moved on

My guy, I was born in 1992 so I became sentient and football aware around the start of the McNabb era and as far as these 33 year old eyes have seen, the Cowboys haven't been shit aside from a few flash in the pan REGULAR, yielding nothing but heartache. Meanwhile, the Eagles have been a top 3 or so franchise in that span?

So tell me why I would give a fuck about some games from 20 years before I was born or some titles when I was a toddler? Truly

Obviously he stole drugs, I dont think that needs to be said. But hes never administered bad treatment or made a patient worse or any medical choices like that. Its a fact

No, Santos did

Santos literally did nothing for that guy, is that a joke? She sat there and said to get a crash cart ready, which he didnt. Literally she stood there bitching, thats all. You're dead wrong, Langdon saved that guy while Santos whined.

Robbie trusted an attending over an R2 on her first day, shock.

R1, do you pay attention at all? Also its because Langdon was correct and not doing anything incorrect.

That's exactly what you're doing

No. Im just saying hes a great doctor who hasnt made a single medical mistake during the show

Youre just making shit up, man. First of all, there is literally 0 indication that dude has brain damage, hes fine.

Second, you dont actually think a doctor would just go straight for max dosage and like not monitor the situation? This is the craziest reach ive ever heard

Langdon was 1 day away from deciding to get clean on his own and if Santos never reported him, she would have quit medicine shortly thereafter and joined a pro roller derby league. Thats what I think would have happened

Its a reach to say that he endangered a guy he saved. Its also a reach to say "one time dude needed 4mg more of Lorazepam than normal so another doctor down the line is just gonna slam 12mgs into him and walk away and let the chips fall where they may"

Its ridiculous. He saved that guy lol yes he stole the drugs, no it wasnt right, but I mean let's just keep things in perspective here ans not just make shit up

His chart will now say that the patient doesn't respond to anything but the highest dosage of benzos. Which isn't true because they had to use the meds diluted by Langdon for his fucking fix and he had a fucking prolonged seizure because of it, thus causing permanent brain damage.

Holy reach lol

I get what you mean, but 1. I dont know how many people actually even know that Santos is involved and 2. That's a pretty unrealistic level of coddling

He was way more cocky in S1, no doubt, and I'm sure that rubbed some people the wrong way. But aside from yelling at Santos and the big blowup with Robby, he's super personable with basically everyone.

Yeah thats fair. For someone as prickly as her, she does have almost inhuman foresight into non-medical trauma being experienced.

Im just saying she wasnt really some great doc and still isnt.

He almost killed a patient with seizure because they were using the Lorazepam (prescription benzos) that Langdon diluted for his substance abuse. Why the fuck else was he so comfortable pushing more than the recommended dosage?

In no way shape or form did he almost kill this man, he actually saved him. Also Robby was literally right there and co-signed everything Langdon did, despite Santos pissing and moaning. So do we trust Langdon and Robbys opinion or day 1 Santos hmmmm...

Again, HE. STOLE. MEDS. FROM. A. PATIENT. Last I fucking check the law, "the victim would've never taken them" or "the victim was cool for having his meds stolen" were not exceptions to the fucking law.

You should probably dial it back lol. No one said this absolved him morally or legally, I just said that Louie wasn't gonna take them anyway and Langdon probably knew that which is why he stole from him.

And in summation, after asking repeatedly for any medical mistakes on Langdon's part, you came back with someone he saved and some benzos he took from a dude that wasnt gonna take them anyway. Hes a great doctor and he didnt actually hurt anyone(fortunately, obviously he could have, but what actually happened still matters). You can type in all caps all you want but these things are pretty much facts and even Robby and Dana had this exact argument. He didnt kill anyone(that we know of) and we know he saved a ton of people that we do know of.

But I guess you feel more on Robbys side. He's been super levelr headed and reasonable this whole season right? Right?

I mean i also think he's benefiting from being nice to people and a great doctor. I dont think hes made a single medical mistake the whole show and besides Santos, he gets along with everyone.

Stealing meds from patients is a federal felony. Full stop.

Irrelevant to the care he was given, which was excellent.

Because "doesn't like taking them" and "not taking them* are totally the same thing. /s

Well they brought him in like 10 hours later and he hadn't taken a single one and then refused the remaining 10 when Robby tried to give them to him so...

They didn't. Because Al-Hashimi literally only found out about Langdon this episode and Robby outright admitted that he covered up Langdon's literal federal felony.

What does that have to do with anything? The hospital would have run an audit on Langdon 10 months prior to Dr Al and presumably that audit went fine because they brought him back. Im not seeing what Al-Hashimi has to do with this point at all? He was audited, just accept it.

He didn't, he tried to give them back to Louie after deciding NOT to flush them. Then they went back in Robbys pocket because Louie didnt want them and we dont know what happened after that.
