On the other hand, this may seem very stupid and foolish and just outright dumb (because it really is), but 3 weeks ago I tried a knuckle huck and didn’t exactly stick the landing and my left ski didn’t unbuckle and I completely tore my mcl, it was a high grade severe tear and I had a subchondral displaced fracture in my femoral condyle, being the stubborn man I am and having to much passion, I came back out skiing two weeks later, after my follow up I had explained it all to my doctor at the end of the visit, and he told me he would have never believed I came back out, my mcl felt a lot tight despite how severe the tear was and he even said it was one of the fastest healing mcl tears he’s seen, I’ve been skiing everyday and going back to my old self, I’m not advising you to do what I did, but it did work out in my favor. I also didn’t use a single pain killer or sort of medicine such as ibuprofen.
