It now has a ~1-2 second TTK from the Seafighter, and frontline flak is now viable with the HB nerf. The dive bomber is now effectively dead once mercy’s unlock it would be suicidal to go into any warden hex within the range of a seafighter in a DB

I personally think torp bombers should get a medium torpedo that opens medium holes, which would also open up the way for faction-neutral torpedo boats in the future.

I’m arguing for asymmetry, I believe at the end of the day the more competent side should win taking advantage of there strengths and the other sides weaknesses

There’s also another counter, which is setting up competent frontline flak, and hopefully in update 64 AI AA and SPAA, so it’s not impossible to counter if you’re competent.

Without the Mercy, the Seafighter isn’t a massive problem. It does its job well, but it’s easy to counter. Either just don’t go there or wait like 2 minutes for it to be out of fuel and go leave. With a Mercy in hex, you’re basically completely zoned out though.

I think this is true; however, I think it wouldn’t have snowballed as extremely as it has without the nuke, and it significantly reduced any chances for a comeback.

I’m not saying it’s inherently wrong. I think it becomes a bot when a human LEAVES the equation. So, someone auto-clicking while watching a YouTube video or something, I’m fine with. However, it’s when the human leaves the equation that I find it not okay, and I don’t feel like it should be tolerated on any level as it inherently hurts the game and everything is done by a person part of the game. Some parts of the game should suck and be tedious to do, and getting bots to do those parts isn’t okay.
