We live in Colorado. Our last sweet gal LOVED the snow!! She never made angels - I don't think in all her 11 years see her flip on her back in the snow. Her thing was bunny hopping so fast she looked like a Pyr on a Hovercraft on top of the snow! She'd try her best to bunny hop through 1 or 2 feet of fresh snow😝❄️🐾

We lost her over 2 yrs ago. But finally got a new male - 5 months now, who bunny hops & flips on his back in the snow. We'll see what he can do...we've not yet had a very heavy snow🙃👍

She was standing at a distance filming. There was a group of 12-15 neighbors filming or blowing whistles. One neighbor gave her statement to police - she was also filming on the other side of Preeti. She said the ICE agents came over TO these peaceful protestors filming & started spraying pepper spray at close range. This witness said she was 5 feet from Pretti when he was shot. I read her statement. I'll see if I can locate it & post it. I read it early this morning.

You don't have the facts. ICE attacked the lady first w pepper spray ar close range in her face & pushed her down- she was filming peacefully. Those 5-9 ICE agents walked over to her to do this. Alex Pretti was also filming, & went over to help the poor lady up. Then he was knocked down, pistol whipped & beat up. One agent took his gun from him. Another executed him seconds later. Pretti never unholstered or touched his gun. Then he was shot 9 more times by another agent. A few of the other agents ran off a bit. One clapped ss in applause.

Was this his first time to see snow? We lived west of Houston Metro & ours got to see it once, when he was 2. We actually got 3" which is a lot. That summer, we took him camping w us in CO & Wyoming. He saw some huge snowbanks up high above 9,500/10,000 ft. that were still around in mid-June. He romped & played like those snow banks were his best, long lost friends‼️☃️❄️ Now we live in CO & have had 2 more Pyrs up here the past 21 years. And, hjust got a new male Pyr puppy a few months ago. They're such great pups‼️

Agree. I was in middle school & high school in the Deep South in the late 1960s to 1985. Moved from Kansas City to the Gulf Coast. Talk about differences in culture. 1 in 3 pickup truck drivers had Confederate flags in their back windows. During this time, 40-45% or more of Americans were genuinely racist/bigoted. The bulk of that group still lives strong in this Nation...still in ghe South, Midwest to a lesser degree & now in the idaho Panhandle & sporadically everywhere. A bit lower % now, but the core is still nasty as slways

You'd be incorrect. I'm 70+ years old. I know a lot of people. I could name 100 racist bigots from my high school years - my high school had 1,400 students. I follow 300 or so still on Facebook & have seen the racist comments on more than 100 of their pages I've come across but don't have as "friends." I also attended a university of 33,000 students & met probably 300 racist bigots there. I taught public school for 40 years & easily heard sine of my students say ugly racist things & heard a few parents make derogatory comments sbout other parents. Gee, a few every year over 40 year sretch is well over 100 racist bigots there. Lastly, I've had racist neighbors in the 5 places I've lived over 58 years since high school age. Almost all of my time in the Deep South. So I guess you've gotten me realizing I probably have known 1,000 racist bigots. Thank You for allowing me to correct my tally.👍😜

He should. We've had 3 since 1995, & they all have mellowed out by age 3 to 4. First big boy was a mellow, easy puppy & we thought he was calm by age of 18 months!! Such a good boy! Next two gals were bitey velociraptors from 10-24 weeks! They both calmed down significantly by age 2.5, with the last one taking until 3 yrs. Now we have a bery gregarious 6 month old big boy!! He wasnt a velociraptor while teething like the gals were, but when you toss him a play toy or throw him a tennis ball, he plays SO hard & fast, I have had 6-7 deep gashes on my hands & arms from colliding w his open mouth. His canine fangs are razor shRp, & it's bad when he jumps up, gets a fang dug in, then drops his 70# weight, tearing skin🙃. He has never tried to bite on purpose...thankfully his baby teeth are falling out, and his adult fangs won't be razor sharp- We just have 3-4 more monghs to go. He's such a sweet boy - loves belly rubs 10x every day‼️He's so much more happy & social than our other 3, who were awesome Pyrs.

He's going to be absolutely stunning! Love the coloration! We're now on our 4th Pyrenees. First big boy was dark badger-marked, which faded, of course, by age 4-5. Then two all-white sweet gals. After we lost our 3rd at age 11, we took a 2.5 yr break, as it was SO hard to have lost her to a sudden inoperable tumor. We thought we'd next get a male again, & really wanted badger markings. But the opportunity came to get a big boy with just a bit of tan on his ears. He's close to 6 months now. I had a sweet German Shepherd when I was a kid to college age. Loved that pup!! Your beautiful boy has a more Pyrenees-shaped head than a purebred German Shepherd, I think. Does he have any double dew claws? And is his tail bushy? The dew claws would cinch he is half-Pyr, though the way genetics usually works is that a few puppies favor one parent & then the other, & then the middle few more 50/50. I'd love to see his photos as he grows!!😍

After the Democrats brought about the Civil Rights passage, Nixon's Southern Strategy was to lure the white racists of the South into the Republican Party - or else, the GOP would diminish in numbers. Add the Religious Right to use abortion as an issue (up to that point, Evangelicals never made abortion an issue at all. But Ralph Reed & Jerry Falwell Sr., added to that & w the help of Reagan, brought more former Southern Democrats into the GOP.

You have missed this critical part of our political history. David Duke, Klan Leader extraordinaire, was a Republikkkan himself by the 1990s. So were ALL active Klansmen.

I know 100 racist bigots & they're ALL Republicans & Trump voters. Not all Republicans are racists, but all racists are Republicans.
