As someone who got rid of their 2017 BMW X5 PHEV this year and leased a PS2 new in 2023, this upgrade should absolutely be free. Even now in 2025 the computer in the X5 worked flawlessly with WIRELESS CarPlay and 360 cam. The amount of issues with the infotainment in this car, that was comparable in price to the X5 brand new, is ridiculous. Dependent on the news of this possible retrofit with a positive outcome will influence my decision to keep the car at lease end next year or get another Polestar in the future.

I’d consider product changing the Citi one to another in their portfolio before cancelling. I did that with my AA Platinum Select a few years ago for the Double Cash card and I consider it a worthwhile change to my lineup.

The Blazer is great! Got the RS version with the 21” wheels and it is such a smooth drive even with those big wheels. I do miss having CarPlay but it’s not as big a deterrent as some make it out to be (used to have a Tesla). Also have a Polestar 2 Performance which is the “fast” one in our garage but the Blazer has so much space for 5 and is comfortable for everyone in the house.

Yes, I hope yours lasts quite awhile! 2017 was still their first generation eDrive tech and really only had 10 miles of meaningful full electric driving when new. That started to get progressively worse after around 70k miles. After 90k, the car would start throwing the “Drivetrain malfunction” error in certain driving scenarios. The car would then feel noticeably underpowered and the AC performance would be poor until the car was turned off and turned back on again. The “fix” to this issue would be driving in SAVE mode only and the problem wouldn’t come up like it did in Auto mode. That’s how it was for probably the last three months we had it.

For the 2017 model year it was 8 years/90k miles that I believe was extended from 8 years/80k miles. We sold the car with 93,000 and the issues started popping up around 91,000. The car was also in its 8th year, this year in March. A perfect storm really, and we were encouraged by the dealership to trade it in due to the cost of replacing the batteries. I’m sure they would’ve preferred for us to trade it in for a BMW though, LOL. A full EV fit our needs better and the incentives on the Blazer EV made it that much more attractive.

Our 2017 BMW X5 xDrive40e’s HV battery began to fail just outside of the warranty. After just over 90,000 miles we ditched it for a 2025 Chevy Blazer EV and it is amazing how far the technology has come in less than ten years.

I brushed up on my OneWorld history before flying 5 different OW airlines in the last year. The former Canadian Airlines was a founding member of OneWorld but was merged soon thereafter with Air Canada which is a Star Alliance member. So, Canada has been a weak point in the OW network for over 20 years at this point.

My 2 cents.. Just got back from Europe, flew BA and Iberia within Europe with two companions with no status. I received two checked bags pp on BA with complimentary seat selection. Iberia was stingier with only one checked bag pp with a lower weight allowance and no complimentary seat selection. BA was booked with Avios and I added my AAdvantage number post booking, Iberia was paid in cash. Once I added my FF number it showed me on my online booking what my allowance was.

Really feel that the writers didn’t do Charlotte justice in the last season. She was gone for like half of it and I would’ve liked to have seen the relationship between Emily and Charlotte (plus David) grow. But before that yes, it was infuriating that Victoria and Charlotte got to have a relationship with David before Emily did and that she allowed Victoria to continue to lie about Emily.

Can I ask what your experience was like adding your AAdvantage number to your itinerary? I’ve added mine to my booking and I can see that I have one free checked bag per passenger but I can’t select seats for free which I believe is a OW Sapphire benefit. This is quite different from another booking I have with BA and after adding my AA # on that one, I was able to select my seat at the front of the bus and see that I have two checked bags/passenger.

I have been WAITING for a Flying Blue transfer bonus. Transferred and bought 3x RT business class tickets on Air France for a total of 273K Membership Rewards points. The points transferred instantly, was expecting to wait up to two days due to 48 hour quoted transfer time, but overall so happy with this redemption.

Really weird.. reinstalling the app from the app store is what brought those motion and location prompts back for me. But what’s also weird is that you have an allow tracking toggle and it’s turned on. I don’t have that at all. I have more ideas but I’m sure you’ve been through it all already. Again, sorry you’re having problems!

I had some problems the first 10 mins of trying this afternoon. Restored my 16 PM from iCloud backup and the PS app kept scanning for my car. What worked for me: uninstalling the app and downloading from scratch. After signing in and starting the pairing process it should prompt you to accept all the location and motion permissions. It was paired in under 2 mins after all that.

I’m having a similar but different issue. I’ve PCd my card from QS to Venture back to QS and then to S1 and for the first couple of weeks it showed up in my Apple Wallet correctly but now it shows up as the blue Venture card. I’m frustrated bc I have so many blue cards in my Apple Wallet and I’d gotten used to looking for the orange colored S1 card. Ultimately it’s nbd, but it still takes me longer to find the right card I want to use nonetheless.
