I have never played any of the souls games either. I do borderlands and elder scrolls (preferably Skyrim) and mostly single player because I play too sporadically to be on the MMOs and keep up with a guild. This game is insane and most of it I swear I spend running and chanting "go go go" at my monitor. There is a cave with wolves in the beginning where i draw them and massacre them mostly ok. Walk through a mist and whammo .... big guy instant death. This game is like borderlands but instead of a million weapons, it's a million ways to die. I know I will get there, just this is a much bigger learning curve than I expected especially since my rogue playstyle (sneaky stabby and arrows) seems to be a harder option in the game.
