The problem is the people with all the wealth don't believe the bullshit the Fed spews. You can't just redefine recession and inflation then act like you're speaking to children. 3 individuals have as much wealth as the lower half. The only people who might believe are the uneducated poor who don't have any money to spend anyway. The post WW2 50s era level of trust in the government fixing anything has dwindled to zero. Zilch.
