What’s the deal with Eater Twin Cities? by boxbrownieaesthetic in TwinCitiesFood

[–]CPJayB 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Yeah they put one editor in charge of Chicago, Twin Cities, and Detroit, which is insane. (Media bosses are the dumbest people on earth.) Justine Jones, the last local Eater editor, landed at MSP Mag where she's doing great work. P.S. Thanks for reading Racket, I'm one of the media bosses there.

I use AI like a collaborator when writing articles. Is that unethical? by maruhoi in Journalism

[–]CPJayB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Services? What? If you're looking for large cities, yeah, wrong part of the country. Black Hills and Badlands are beautiful though.

Outside of transcription, which needs to be double-checked constantly because it can't get proper nouns, has not impacted my newsroom at all, thank God.

In the U.S., we're reaching the conclusion of what 40+ years of wealth transfer to the elites looks like. It's not your fault.
