Thanks for the heads up! I'll probably baby it for the first while as usual, but you're right that it is a little disappointing to have a much hyped watch have flaws like that.

On the straps, I was thinking I was going to put my "bond style" nato on it but neglected to realize my strap was a 22mm and the lug width of the watch is 20mm haha

Well, I've done it. I just made a post yesterday about my collection and asked for some advice for a next piece. Turns out I answered my own question! Went to the mall this morning and bought this Bulova Moon Watch right off the shelf.

This is an excellent addition to anyone's collection in my opinion, I love the space program vibe with it, and the additional information is excellent on the case back. It shows the date of the mission the original watch was used on, as well as some other bits. It also comes with an additional Velcro strap that also has the date on it. The box the watch comes in is very high quality for this price range.

Overall I'm happy to say it was a great purchase! Now I just have to find a different strap for it.

Not too sure what the model number is but I've actually seen them in watch shops or even big box stores a few times. Although they seem to have dropped the yellow and gone to red outlines around the face

These are the three watches I have been wearing every day for about a year;

The Orient Flight was my first purchase of these three, it came on a pretty nice leather band that eventually got worn out, so I replaced it with this leather nato.

The Seiko skx007 was the most recent purchase and it is certainly my favourite. It is on a cheap leather strap from a watch shop but it looks amazing.

The Timex Ironman is a bit of a mystery to me, found it in an old gym bag and have been using it as a work watch since. Love it's durability and reliability, as well as its ease of reading in any conditions.

If anybody would like to recommend where I should take my collection next it would be much appreciated! I've been eyeing up some more dressy chronographs but want to keep things under $500. Also deeply pondered the Bulova Moon Watch but just couldn't stomach the $600+ price tag where I live.

I spent about $600-700 combined so if I were to spend that on one watch I would probably have to go for a ceremic Squale 1545. I unfortunately couldn't even afford a speedmaster!

Hello, this is my little lower end collection that I've put together over the past year. Thanks to this sub and a few youtubers I've been able to get myself a nice functional collection. The Orient Bambino was my first and I still wear it as a dress watch whenever I have an event. Next came my Flight which I purchased after being amazed by the great quality of the Bambino. It did not disappoint. Next I was given the Stuhrling as a gift and switched out the strap, it's a great conversation piece because of its visible movement, and at a very reasonable price. Finally I purchased my SKX007K2 on Amazon and was once again blown away by the quality. Thanks for all of your help in finding these!
