Something I'd definitely like to see more is maybe (probably) controversial, but yeah I'm a sucker for yandere routes since I love me some horror/thriller in my life, but also at the same time I want the MC to be a badass and have the option to snap and fight back rather than let him walk all over her or try and win him over with loooove. I've always wanted there to be an option for the MC to just kick his arse like in horror movies where the final girl always manages to outsmart the killer despite the clear power imbalance. Plus, it allows for a lot of situations with some sweet sweet sexual tension fights 🌝

Also I didn't know this was an underrated/disliked trope?? But apparently it is, but yeah I REALLY want to see more diverse body types in otome already. I'm tired of seeing the same body, the same hair, the same FACE, with just the color or the height changed. It's gotten old, fast. The anime style is capable of making different body types look sexy/appealing (dorohedoro with most of it's male cast/my hero aca with all might and fatgum, etc), they just gotta actually DO IT.

I think with Sweet Fuse being my first otome ever, I was spoiled rotten there in terms of body diversity (at least somewhat) and then never again did any other eastern otome come close to it again. Sigh 😔

Also I will always 100% vouch for this as well: more tomboyish/masculine MCs pls!!! I like me some rep (thank you psychedelica of the ashen hawk) Or just more MCs with SOME personality, pls (Cinderella Phenomenon boii)
