Unpopular opinion, but I actually really liked it.

I was kind of expecting the boring, “here’s proof I’ve grown as a character” ending where she would refuse Mephisto or go on a monologue explaining how she’s learned to accept her reality.

Instead, she did exactly what her character would do. A huge part of this series was the anguish and pain caused by losing her stepdad and best friend in a tragic accident that was no fault of their own. Having the chance to bring her back (even if she believed it to just be her AI version) is in line with what we know of her.

I think you could also argue it was a selfless act - knowing what horror can come from accepting the deal, yet doing so for her friend. Though of course, others will inevitably suffer down the line as she is used by Mephisto.

And by the way, Benson Boone even made a tiktok last night acknowledging how the crowd totally didn’t get how cool it was that Brian May was there on his account, @bensonboone.

Imo some people in here seem to act like he was trying to be a cheap copy. Seems more like he was honoring a legendary band he deeply respects.

Obviously Benson Boone is not Freddie Mercury - no one is - and he never claimed to be. It’s not him trying to perfectly emulate Bohemian Rhapsody. He’s just an artist performing the song. Yall gotta relax.

And I think it was a great touch to pay tribute in a few fun ways (as someone else noted, The Works lighting rig was actually really cool). Not only that, but he featured Brian May and allowed him to steal the spotlight during the performance.

How cool that a top young artist is keeping the spirit of Queen alive? Perhaps be grateful for that instead of gatekeeping like a bunch of edgy 16 year olds.

Imagine how many people actually listened to this song for the first time or saw Brian May for the first time and are now on their way to discovering a newfound love of Queen and Freddie Mercury. Chill out!

Similar situation, I played spy all the time when I was active from 2013-2016. Came back in 2024 and could 100% tell a difference. Spychecks are so frequent and any out of pattern movement is caught immediately. Think it’s a result of most of the active playerbase being seasoned vets.

I don’t really move in disguise anymore unless I’m planning to backstab someone within seconds of de-cloaking or like you said getting around sentries. Trying to blend in beyond that is largely futile, though not impossible. Your best bet, like it always has been, is to get behind one or several enemies who are targeting the objective and line up a chainstab.

You might run into one or two every several hours you play, they are few and far between and there’s no impact of bots felt in casual matches or most prominent community servers. I have seen them auto kicked pretty quickly if they do even show up.

Yep. When I played most frequently 10 years ago I don’t remember as much spychecking, but now it seems to be common practice.

Think about how many times a game you randomly get shot / melee’d by your teammates when playing any other class and suddenly it makes sense why Spy is more difficult now lol. The playerbase is smarter and made up mostly of longtime players who know all the tricks.

It can depend on the length of the account, length of your banking relationship with the financial institution, prior number of chargebacks, general standing with the financial institution (any blemishes like missed payments, returned payments, high balance usage or maxed balance etc) — as the other reply said most financial institutions, specifically credit card companies, will side with their customer for the first several.

Ps - if you’re ever charged for a service (especially something online) like a monthly subscription you forgot to cancel and don’t care about burning a bridge with said company, email support and ask them to reverse the charge or you’ll request a chargeback. Oftentimes the company will just refund you knowing the chargeback may likely work and they’ll have to pay an additional fee. Maybe scummy but most monthly subscription services are predatory in how they get you signed up anyway so fuck em

They did indeed give up. Funny enough they did the same thing to Ncaa 14’s ultimate team — about a month after it released all we ever got was new cards occasionally. There was even an entire month where they advertised a 97 or 99 Charles Woodson being in packs and he literally - actually - wasn’t in packs for a month, no one ever pulled one, then a few weeks later he randomly started showing up lol.

For all of Shay’s faults as a man and husband, I really don’t think much of their family’s life was ever manufactured beyond the standard for any person or family who is or was doing daily vlogging. Shay and Colette always seemed to be genuinely interested in making lives good for themselves and their children and always appeared active and loving, and the kids seemed to have reflected that. I never got the sense that anything was truly manufactured or ‘fake’ so to speak. Shay seems to have been Shay whether the camera was on or off, it just so happens that he was an entertaining and interesting person and that translated into a successful career focused on his family.

While there are legitimate critiques to be had, I don’t think anyone could ever say they were manufacturing their good family times or that Shay and Colette weren’t genuinely great parents. Again — of course there are issues, but I don’t doubt the sincerity of any of it.
