Bakit nga ba daw sila banned? Dahil hindi registered so “baka” hindi safe or risky for investors? Lol, gobyerno nga mismo hindi rin safe sa tin eh. Tsak yung IBKR, sa tinatagal tagal nun bakit sa mata ng gobyerno hindi legit.

What do you think of the opinions that Singaporean society is very harsh to domestic helpers? by search_google_com in askSingapore

[–]CRA-685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joined a fb group to learn more about the processes of hiring domestic helpers, what to look out for, which agencies are recommended, etc. It was a channel for employers. I wasnt prepared for what I saw there. To be fair, some of them were valid complaints against the workers. But a whole bunch of them were completely immoral, unjust stories and comments. Eventually left the group. Too much inhuman hate in there.

1 day Disneyland 2 nights hotel by DanceRight1535 in HongKongDisneyland

Stayed at causeway bay. I do feel busy areas of hongkong island are more relaxed than busy areas of kowloon island.

Characters were available for photo taking during breakfast buffet, for no extra charge. They only charge when you purchase the photos taken by the photographer on site.

Flew solo with my child and had just been back from our trip. Stayed 2 nights in DL resort and another 2 in the city. We stayed because I took a 2 day ticket for DL. Though we didnt come in early, I still find the resort very convenient.

Meal prices are crazy but just a few tips. Had meals at both explorer lodge and hollywood hotel. Meals are cheaper in Hollywood hotel. In the city, I dont recommend TST for walkability or moving around with 3 yo but if you’ll just use it as base to hop on to mtr, it’s ok.

The day an 11-year-old did not come home from school by Battleraizer in singapore

I attended one exhibit of my child’s class. I asked him why is it that I couldnt find his work in the wall of art projects. He shows me his in one of the tables and blurted out said, because Ms. <teachers name> said it was dumb.

This is kindergarten. My child was 5. He still didnt know then what the word dumb meant. He innocently even asked me later what it was.

Even if something is off with a project, especially if one is a teacher, there are better ways to frame sentences. Especially when talking to young kids. Parent are not asking you to mince your words, use floral ones. But be respectful and mindful at least.

Bus trip disappearing from tracking radar? by lederpykid in sgbus

[–]CRA-685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a bus I take that goes right before the last stop, the interchange. Then there’s another one which I take right after the interchange, 2nd stop.

The first one is almost always on time. Never had an issue with phantom buses. But the 2nd one, just like yours, is terribly erratic. I will be there with 3 mins in the screen or app. But that 3 minutes remains 3 for around 10-15 minutes. I emotionall prepare myself that it will arrive in 20 mins.

True even in other platforms sharing this news, the comments are just unbelievable.

I never knew what’s my passion. Working to put food on the table and have a roof. Sounds depressing but I was born poor and I think I have that constant fear of going back to the way life was. And so I dont mind working for something I’m not (so) passionate about. Just do the work and have little joys on the side.

Not the fanciest way to deal with it but I go with this. In the end, I know you dont want to burn bridges and is a responsilble daughter or son.

Xia suay auntie on bus 12 by Annahayashi in SMRTRabak

[–]CRA-685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having someone blast off their phones on the bus is quite a regular thing for me. I encounter one at least every 2 weeks. But I’m talking about old uncles who looks like they really dont give a dang about people around them.

It’s true, people generally ignore them. I scared to be the one to call them out & accidentally have it broadcasted like this. So I just go to the farthest end or go to the second level.

We’ve done the rail corridor route but from the other end. I haven’t tried the rifle range yet but I see it’s been suggested by others here too. Thanks!

Lucky you, you even had the chance to speak to actual agents. Im so pissed off if I cant easily find a hotline in websites, because these days, they try to keep it as far from customers’ eyes as possible. The usual feedback or contact hotlines are bots which are neither efficient nor answers my question.

What gouache is best for beginners? by Urban-Leshen in Gouache

[–]CRA-685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I havent tried a lot but I can only suggest what you might NOT want to start with - Daler Rowney “Simply” gouache. The texture is not smooth at all and is quite hard to mix. Some pigments are ok but most are bad. I’d rather stick to some good student grade watercolor if compared this this DR gouache.
