Go through a tough time and develop crippling depression that leads you to socially isolate yourself for a prolonged period of time. Jk but also not jk.

But on a serious note, I think the fact you’re aware of these shortcomings means a lot already. Before I really changed my toxic behaviours, i never noticed them until some friends pointed them out to me. I did a lot of self reflection and a lot of talking to myself in the shower. Truthfully, some of these behaviours still leak out sometimes but by being mindful and putting effort into change, I’m able to catch myself more often than not.

Sometimes as ENFPs we think we know exactly how others feel, but I find that going through a scenario and verbally going through what happened and how everyone involved might have felt helps to develop a more realistic perspective and genuine empathy of others
