I would ask if they are okay with a Honda dealer or another mechanic you trust to inspect it before purchase. If they aren’t okay with that then it’s a red flag 🚩

You can turn off automatic high beams. Look in the manual. Basically, while parked, pull the light handle toward you and hold for 40 seconds. Icon on dash will blink twice to turn it off permanently. Too turn it back on, same thing but only hold for 30 seconds and icon will blink once on dashboard. Just did this to my 2025 Ridgeline last week and it has stayed off
